sorry about that. This was a while ago when I was fairly new to the glue pulling and honestly, I just threw the video together quick I did not even know if it would work on the garage door. Keco is the company to trust for all glue, pulling related equipment.

I noticed how you set up in an inverted stance, which is a Dent Wizard thing. Essentially a trademark for them. Have you ever worked for them?
@Petersondent4 ай бұрын
no, I never worked for those guys but I think they were all very good technicians. It's not around here anymore. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. Basically the stance is just however I can stand and see and move the dent as comfortable as possible, so nobody can really trademark that. :)

What kind of this black glue??
@Kokomo3654 ай бұрын
I can get most dents out to 99.50% - it's the 0.50% that's the challenge. The factory orange peel is a disadvantage because it hides these small imperfections we are trying to remove and can still be seen 6ft away. Need longer arms! Patience is key, but so is time if trying to do for profit.

Hey sir, I hit a pole, I replaced my door but I have a good sized dent in the roof rail which is that very hard metal. Would the black plague gray glue be strong enough for a dent like that?
@Swenser4 ай бұрын
Firstly, what did the guy do to upset someone. Next, those dents look almost cool enough to leave it as a feature.

There is a reason why they only give a 14 day guarantee. Mine only lasted two days and the green light went off and never would come back on no matter what I did very difficult to get in touch with the company there’s a phone number. Good luck at having them call you back.

How do you put the rod in? Just from the gap?
@Petersondent6 ай бұрын
thanks for watching in commenting. Yes I use a piece of plastic to guard the window and then a plastic wedge to spread it open just a quarter inch or less so I can slide the rod in between the window and the outer skin.👍

This was such a useful video to come across. I purchased a salvage car at auction, and 1 side is a real mess but not structural, worse than this, the other has a few dents that I felt like I could pull myself. My plan was to get 'proper professionals' to do the big stuff while I do the lesser stuff, but none of the 'proper professionals' near me will touch even part of it. I have had the car inspected, I know that it's fixable, I know that I am going to have to pay for some new parts but seeing this, I think maybe I should have a see at what can be salvaged. The car is a wedding present for my wife to be, and the best that I can afford. It doesn't have to be perfect, it has to be good enough, because other than the body work, it's a brand new car! If I make a video about it I will have to let you know, and tag you in. Thanks to you and all the other PDR channels for all the advice and showing what can be achieved.

I'm a lifetime auto body tech who is fascinated with pdr .These guys are really talented and have amazing skills.I work in a new shop here in New Orleans called x-a-Dent where they also do pdr ,I'm gonna learn this art and increase my skill set .Thanks for sharing your expertise . And as far as stretched metal goes the only way you really can shrink stretch metal is with old school techniques involving heat hammers and dollies and water quenching after the shrink. What we do is we take a dolly block and create a super high spot from the inside out, then we heat the hi spot in the metal till it's cherry red ,then using on dollie hammer blow and a wet rag to quench it with after the dollie blows .Old body man joke when people ask me how I straighten metal ,I tell them I don't straighten the metal I just move the dents around.
