What do you love the most about role-playing games ? For me, what I love the most is that even when you know the story and the choices, when you think you have it all figured out... You experience the game personally, in its full glory, and that's when your convictions are fully tested, making you realize that no, you have nothing figured out. I am currently playing "Infamous 1" for the first time, I'm at hero karma (and let me tell you it wasn't easy getting there, since I'm constantly doing both evil and good karma choices, depending on which one is the most in lign with my beliefs), I'm at the mission in which I have to rescue Zeke from the Trash-Men...and my Cole is starting to consider the best way to inflict fear on his enemies, since it's clear the psycho posters and draining my enemies's lives isn't aren't working (which is weird, considering I did two evil karma missions in which I murdered cops without causing collateral damage and a revolted crowd that may or may not have been influenced by the Reapers into fighting me, reviving four in order to tell the story). My Cole was already afraid that Sasha's powers were being used to infiltrate members of both gangs among the civilians, but it's not like he could simply attack the population until someone revealed themselves a bad guy, especially since the recordings revealed that depending on his morality, his mutation would either twist or empower him. Well, Zeke's kidnapping was a warning. No more holding back. The worst part about all of this ? I don't feel like a dick doing this (not yet anyway). My goal was to get powers from both sides of the karmic spectrum after all. And there's plenty of enemies around for me to feast and suspicious people to oppress. I already got lots of good karma powers. Time to unlock some evil goodies as well.

Btw future Cole fought the beast and lost and his family died. The beast became to strong when he eventually fought him. That is why he want back in time. He wanted to juice his younger self up and have him fight the beast right away. Unfortunately he also caused the beast to emerge much much sooner , which is why young Cole can't kill him at the beginning of infamous 2.

​@@alexandervazquez9218it makes more sense for the evil ending to be Canon. the RFI is shown to kill conduits all over the world. the events of second son take place only 7 years after the events of infamous 2 meaning delsin was a child when the RFI was activated meaning delsin should have DIED along with all other conduits across the world as is shown in the good ending. not just that but the forming of the D.U.P. makes no sense in the good ending timeline because all conduits are dead. but if the evil ending is canon then the government forming the D.U.P. to stop evil cole and the new conduits makes total sense. it's just a big plot hole they'll never address.

I believe Delsin’s powers can be summed up in some word or idea, as all other conduits do. Cole had electrical energy, Hank had Smoke, Fetch had Neon, Eugene had Video, Bertrand had Mutation, Kuo had Ice, Nix had Napalm. And I believe Delsin’s power is “Conduit”. He is a conduit for Conduits so to speak. That’s why he looks into a person’s head when he takes their power. When a conduit gains their ability, their biology changes to compensate. Memories are a part of your biology, just neural pathways that we can repeat. The memories are basically a substitute for physically draining a conduit. Instead of taking the smoke out of Hank’s body, he takes the memories of Hank, and that allows him to embody that conduit and their ability.

This is probably the best explanation possible. I was hoping S.P. Would add a dlc where you could gain more powers but also explain how his worked in better detail. Are his “sponge” abilities limited? Or can he dabble in a little bit of everything? The evil ending of second sun wasn’t all too clear but I feel if they explored that more it would be awesome

@@thatjupos2557 it could also explain his massive personality shift when choosing evil for the first karmic choice like maybe his power takes the worst or best of someone character. I also believe that a conduits power comes from what they need at the time like cole should have died in the blast and his body gave him the electricity power to shock his body back to life and maybe fetch’s neon was because she was really unhappy so she got a bright power and Eugene was being bullied to the point where he felt absolutely powerless outside of the game he enjoyed playing as he got the power to be strong like his in game character Augustine got concrete while dealing with conduits in a destroyed city after John transformed into the beast and speaking of John his power to activate a conduits power is exactly what the ray-sphere does and the ability to pull himself back together after parts of him are destroyed was the only way he could have survived

Yes and no. While he does gain the powers of others he can't take them to there maximum potential as the original conduit he got them from can. It's more like power imitation. He can however switch between them which is what HIS actual power is. Coles power is energy manipulation and internal energy storing. All the powers Cole gets in infamous 2 Kessler also had. Eventually Cole would get the power to go back in time as a conduits powers continue to grow and develop their entire life.

Infamous will always be one of my all time favorite series and specifically Cole (and his powers) will always be my favorite protagonist, no matter what new games they came out with. I don't care much for second son, I think I just have a special love and bias for the first two games, protagonist, his powers and the story. Plus Cole's lightning powers are way cooler then any others

Btw the comics they made for the games takes place during in between inFAMOUS 1 and 2 and you see what happens to Alden, moya, and kinda Sasha but not really. It also dives into the guilt Zeke had felt for his actions along with the Cole dealing with the aftermath of the first game really is such a nice layer to add to the story. It helps you understand what happened in inFAMOUS 2 between Cole and Zeke much better especially once Cole apologizes to Zeke it's so much more wholesome 💯

My head cannon: Delsin's parents were conduits and that is why they died because of the RFI. Kessler had two children in Infamous 1 and he was the leader of the First Sons and when the RFI kills conduits all the leaders died as well so all that's left would be the Second Sons or the people to come after the first sons. Given that Delsin has extremely similar powers to Kessler by seeing other's memories and giving memories to other's and the fact that Kessler was able to obtain new powers, such as time travel, It feels like Delsin is somehow related to the First Sons leader and so he is the Second Son in multiple ways. Again this is just my head cannon, not saying it's what actually happened

The power sharing device in 2 was supposed to work both ways but it only worked on Cole for some reason. Also some people believe that Kuo got her powers fron that machine and they were transferred to her from the ice soldiers. In actuality Bertrand actually made her by replacing her blood with special liquids and did the same with the soldiers and the machine wasn't a part of it. Even Wolfe said in a dead drop that the device should give either 83 or 87% of both conduits powers to each other but again for some reason only Cole got powers. Only Cole, Kessler, and Delsin can get new powers which to me makes me believe more and more that Delsin is related to Cole through Kessler. I mean Kessler went back in time what 50 years before infamous 1 takes place so who knows how many kids he could of had

I can’t express how thankful I am that you took the time to make this video. I grew up playing the Sly Cooper games as a kid and the Infamous games throughout my teenage years, so sucker punch has kinda been growing up with me. Ghost of Tsushima was a little bit of a let down for me personally. I’m glad everyone loved it, but it just felt like a higher quality assassins creed game rather than an innovative new title. Anyways, after all this time I’m still very passionate about the infamous universe and somehow I have never met anyone in person who shares that passion. So even while everybody has played and loved these games, I still feel like they were underrated and didn’t get the attention they properly deserved. It makes me very happy to see videos like this so long after Infamous was buried for an entire console generation. Thank you!

I have misunderstood Kuo back then in the good ending thinking she’s evil but no she’s not. Kuo wants save people although they’re already dead, by using John’s powers they become conduits or just die. While Nix only cared about killing John for killing her (pets) which they are the people of the swamp she grew up in, not saving humanity

i think delsin is a conduit from long ago but he didn't notice because his power only allow him to absorb other peoples powers. or he only have conduit genes but he accidently absorb other people powers and then it becomes his powers. and i think theory number 1 is most closer because he never do conduit test before he gets his power

1:14:35 Normally even if you hit all your shots you can't kill this thing with just smoke. Even with Max Bad Karma Cinder Blast. But you can get more smoke by jumping off into the water, the fight will restart but you'll have max Cinder Missles. Sadly there is no unique dialog for doing this. You can also beat it without smoke if you can knock it into the water. This has a 50/50 to get you stuck and make you reload the save, or one shot the monster.

I like to think even tho its sad that the Evil karma ending is the true ending. For starters given the final karmaic title is "Infamous" which alines with the games. But it also serves as History repeating itself. With the inevitable destruction and lack of order in Seattle that comes with Delsin running the city. There's also the Paper Trail girl who regardless of your Karma is evil and is abusing her power. Something she says she learned from Delsin, which ethier she is just a bad learner or she learned it from Infamous Delsin.

I wonder if cole really died 1:23:58 also the little girl, Celia, has paper power and was a secret agent under Augustine until her defeat. She now rebels against anti conduits and Delsin in on the hunt for her

I don't think he did die. In the beginning of the second game, it was stated that he was left in a weak state after battling yhe beast. What if when he k*lled the beast (good ending) he was left in a very weakened state that made it seem as though he was dead. When the lightning hit the boat, it revived him back which is why it had the question mark. That lightning seemed more like an ionic storm, leading me to believe that Cole was conserving his energy to use this to revive himself.

I believe when the RFI fired off the it didn’t fire off correctly. Unless wolf wanted this to happen I believe the RFI was supposed to destroy the RaySphereEnergy, however I think it didn’t do that. In SecondSon the conduits to me at least are able to awaken their powers a lot more easier. I think before the RFI blast Conduits needed a near-death experience or something similar(theory) to activate their powers. The RaySphere just speed ups and in powers the Conduits awakening. SecondSon Conduits just need an some what extreme situation to awaken. Kyo was pretty much close to dead when they found her and in Infamous1 they never stated that Keslar was awaken by the RaySphere. I believe Keslar’s power awaken naturally. Don’t really know would like some context.

In the original timeline which Kessler jumped back in time from, he gained his powers naturally. Possibly because of a mutation or something.. It's possible that Conduits were always going to appear in the future of the Infamous universe. The events Kessler set in motion altered the timeline by creating and releasing conduits into the world far earlier than in the previous one. Cole would have still certainly developed his powers on his own without the ray sphere. This might explain why conduits started appearing again across the world many years later. It's just that the timeline is catching up to the events that would have occurred if Kessler didn't time travel in the first place (Conduits developing powers naturally) :P

Infamous 1 and infamous second son are the exact same plot but instead of a girl it's a brother there's 3 big bosses in both games and in-between the 2nd and 3rd ones Reggie dies in second son and Trish dies in infamous 1
