Tekken 7-8 is damn hard game and skill gap is too wide IMO. Reflex is too important. Older people are at disadvantage more than in any other game. I played Tekken since Tekken 2. Yes older game has it flawed and infinite combos too but it was never too complex. One mistake and your 30-50% HP is gone. Moves that look like you can punish you can't. There is no clear visual . You have to memorize each combos for each characters. Now they add chip damage and heat system. It's even more complex and force player to play certain way. More weird characters with fantasy fighting styles make it impossible to predict their moves. So you have to learn a lot. Too many to learn to the point that it's not worth my time. I feel bad for younger generation who will have to put thousands of hours in this game only to realize they wasted their life just for one game that they will never win. I miss the older and more simpler game. Easy to pick up. Easy to learn. Hard to master. The talent and hardcore players will always beat us but the rest of us can have fun and have times for other great games and for our own life. With that said. I LOVE the soundtrack feature The graphics and animation is SUPERB in TEKKEN 8 I like the new arcade story mode. There are ghosts which is interesting. Replay features is also great. But I'm too old for this shit.

I get that they wanted to do their own story different from the games, but its not a particularly good crime drama on its own and its got none of the charm of the games, so I don't really understand what happened, I honestly believe that adapting the first game's story faithfully to some extent would've worked just fine for the first season, its honestly a good story aside from some minor points

I haven't seen the Amazon Yakuza but i have seen Takashi Miike movie. You are right it was mediocre. But i think it got Goro Majima's casting perfect in that film at least. Btw, my personal favorite Yakuza game is Yakuza 6. Thought it was a great finale for Kiryu's original run. But i also love Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth from earlier this year. Great sequel for Ichiban's story as well as a satisfying continuation for Kiryu.

Tekken 7 was bad enough with characters being too unbalanced, power crushes, rage arts and bad sidestep. Now all the same shit in 8 with even safer on block rage arts. So basically all Tekken games we have on PC are worse than what we had before. I'd just like to get a better, newer version of Tekken 5 to play online

The 3d zelda games as a whole is legit one of the most overrated series of videogames ever made. Im glad people are getting more critical about them, id like you to review twilight princess as well cause that game is pretty dissapointing, but give it credit its not as much of a bore compared to skyward slog.
