i think that people are taking the point of this video the wrong way because you gave up. yeah, you should have given up some other way like looking for the killer then running away, but either way slugging IS a problem. 90% of my matches are killers hooking one person then slugging the rest of us (or even just slugging everyone, no hooks). now i do admit that it might be fun for the killer but it’s literally keeping the game hostage. no objectives get done this way. it’s even worse because of the mori basekit. i do think that mori basekit was a good idea but some people have to ruin it. not even unbreakable can help with slugging at this point, you’ll just get downed again in 30 seconds max.

The only way to fix slugging is give survivors base kit unbreakable.

Can we get more key moments. Especially your old Claudette builds. Bond, spine chill if that perk is any good anymore. I still go back and rewatch those videos today. I love the boring, montone voice, hide from the killer escape in the end gameplay. Other content creators are overstimulating for me.

Solution is simple: If everyone is slugged or on hook, people bleed out 10x faster. Doesn’t invalidate slugging completely, and doesn’t matter in 90% of cases, but makes lost games quicker to end. (I think it’d bring the waiting after being dropped from 4 min to 24 seconds) Edit: Maybe 8x faster so that you can still pick yourself up with Unbreakabke.

Slugging happens to me almost every other game it is so frustrating and boring. An idea to fix the problem could be if all other survivors are also downed you could get 3 tries to pick yourself up in exchange for a bit of your health, just like unhooking yourself. Could work as a last resort option... or perhaps being able to pick up other downed survivors if both of you have been lying there for 20 seconds or more? Would force the killer to pick up one soon eventually.

Nah, you absolutely need invalidate slugging as a 'strategy'. As it isn't a strategy, it's just blatantly refusing to the play the game with toxic behaviour. (Leaving one dude on ground to chase someone off, isn't slugging).

If a Killer slugs you when you're doing shit like vault spamming because you give up too early and wanna die & go next, they know you're only going to just die yourself on hook and then leave your team alone with 3. So, if you would rather just stay slugged than take a d/c penalty and leave your team with a bot that is gonna be more useful than you, go for it, that's on you. OR, in my experiences, sometimes slugging a quitting survivor who I know is just gonna kts' on hook, after a bit it will make them rethink their choices and actually play after a second thought or it will just force them to take the d/c and leave the team with a somewhat competent bot who's gonna throw way less than a quitting crybaby player who's upset because they got downed within 10 seconds or whatever. A lot of Killers simply just have good moral these days for solo que players and feel bad when someone quits early. Now, in your case here in the start of this video, yeah it was shambles early, a death at 4 gens and 2 slugs.. Not much you can do there, other than just take the 60 second penalty and go next like you want instead of force yourself to stay slugged for maybe more than 2 minutes, because chances are the Killer will find the bot and kill it anyway, OR it gets lucky hatch. It's up to you, its ALL up to you, ALL literally your choice. Slugging is only a problem if you don't give the Killer a moral choice. Slugging is fine the way it is. You can't get mad at the Killer for having some sort of empathy for solo queue players regardless of the fact that their main objective is to kill y'all by any means necessary, and through EXTREME measures thats often done through camping/tunneling and EVEN THEN survivors will still b!tch. Mad when a Killer does their objective, and mad when a Killer shows empathy over certain inconveniences. ... Yknow what, survivors just cry man. All they do. I can't anymore. Killers? Proceed playing how you wish.

the best solution is basically how ppl kill themselves on hook. though that might change now that everyone does it. but if you are slugged, you can take a chance to get up 4%. if it fails it halves your bleed out meter.

Don't understand why a give up button has never been added. There cant be basekit UB because survivors can abuse with flashlights, pallets, and sabos. killers slug for 4k's (On last two survivors) so much especially after all these changes that punish hooking (+10 sec hook timer) or reward slugging (last survivor mori).

I think if you’re on the floor for more than 30 seconds during endgame collapse, unbreakable should be allowed. Hell, 25 seconds.

Some say you don't have the right to give up until you're out of the game. They say giving up, throwing a pallet and making explosions sounds every second is rude to everybody especially for the killer. Because people doing that clearly don't want to play so they shouldn't queue up. But what do I know... when they give up in my games I just try to end it fast, unless they're toxic.
