I remember being one of the first attendees for Star Tours on opening weekend at Disneyland. The line for the ride was like 120 minutes wait time. It was well worth it.

I was just gonna say...How cool would it be if Disney Parks made more 3 & 3/4 inch vehicles for us collectors? The Indiana Jones Jeep, the Doom Buggy, the Nautilus & even vehicles to attractions that no longer exist, like the Wedway Peoplemover at Disneyland.

I went to D23 on Sunday around lunch time and it was sold out couldn't get it online either really bummed I couldn't get this and I'm not paying the 1k prices on eBay hopefully they sell it at the parks

Full circle my man!!! I remember watching your Starspeeder 1000 review all those years ago and I still have my playset as well. When I first caught wind of the 3000 playset and saw what it offered, I think Disney finally got it right. I do hope they release 3000 again but SEVERELY lower the price cause not everyone can pay 300 FREAKING bucks for this beauty. And yes, Disney should reuse the mold in future the 1000 if they do it, at least here they learned their lessons from before.

i grabbed one number #194 of 3,000, rode the original and updates plenty over the years. Only thing missing in my box were the paper instructions, is there a place where instructions for SW items are scanned for collectors you know of? thx for the great video 👍

Not quite sure why they couldn't or didnt use the soundtrack. Was it by design. I would assume that since they own Lucasfilm it isn't a rights issue. or maybe since the film was prior to purchase there may he some legal jargon.

surely it cant be for music rights. They own all that now. You may be right that it was by design....but it just seems so lacking without it! Im sure if one wanted to, you could tear it open and mod it to play whatever video you wanted, but prolly not worth the trouble.

Hope yours last longer than mine did. Bought it at D23 on 08/09 it was RIP in less than 24hrs. The video was 1st to go then the audio and finally it wouldn’t turn on at all. If you purchased at D23 it was sold AS IS but after a lot of back and forth with Disney I was able to get a refund. Good luck with your purchase 👍🏽.

i didnt luck out :( They did customers dirty by not letting us know that you should be there at X time for the virtual line. I got up and figured 10 minutes before 8 was plenty of time to get situated and ready to hit refresh. But then i saw the store had changed to show a virtual queue, and who knows what time they started that, but i was already in the thousands for the queue. I pulled up the store on my phone too, and it was even further back. Of course, i eventually got in, but it was sold out.
