First, I went to an ENT and an audiologist to have my hearing tested. Then, to minimize expenses, I purchased Sennheiser Ultra Slim from Best Buy, in Florida (BB offers monthly payments with zero interest for 24 month). The diagram of hearing loss is different for my two ears. Most people’s hearing loss is different ear to ear. With the Sennheiser App, I can adjust just the individual HA volume amplification. But the equalizer works only on both HA together - my ears are very different. Is it any way to adjust, with the equalizer, differently for each of my ears?

Do you compare Signia IX Pro? Are you sure that Sony will not work with Pixel 8pro with streaming?

On my second pair first pair quit working sent back got replacement pair support staff at audience worked with me got no where so these are going back got a refund I guess you get what you pay for

I woke up one morning about 3 months ago and overnight I had suddenly lost about 75% of the hearing in my right ear. I also had an enormous amount of tinnitus in that ear which I thought would drive me crazy and although it never completely disappeared, it went down enough in volume to where I could just tolerate it. It still fluctuates to above annoying once in a while but always seems to lessen in a day or two. Next, I knew I needed to buy some hearing aids because my spouse had to repeat everything he said to me, at least twice, sometimes 3 times. I saw an ENT doctor who gave me antibiotics and steroid injections into my ear as well as steroid tablets but nothing helped, so the next step was the Audiologist. She prescribed an Oticon behind-the-ear aid for $995, and she told me they "should" help somewhat but they were not "Jabra's" so I shouldn't expect a miracle from the Oticons. I understood BTE were bigger and probably better but I wear eye glasses and I was certain that would be a problem. To make a long story short, if that's still possible, I decided to try the Audien Pro 2 ITC aids for $189 on sale. I didn't expect to regain normal hearing with them, but if I could just hear people the first time they spoke, I would be very happy. I originally had a lot of trouble with feedback until I finally tried the largest silicone ear dome, and almost all of the feedback disappeared. For $189, they actually help me hear better - not perfect but somewhat helpful. Helpful enough that I'm glad I didn't rush out and spend $5000 on Rx hearing aids. If they continue to improve my hearing ability to about 40-50% of normal, I will consider them a success, at least for the time being, but I still have two almost constant fears. 1) If that horrendous tinnitus returns, nothing will help, and 2) if I lose the hearing in my "good" ear (about 70% of normal) I'll also be in trouble, but for now, the $189 Audien Pro 2 aids were worth what I paid for them. I just hope they keep on working to the same degree that they help now, or I'll be looking at spending thousands of dollars for prescription hearing aids, but who knows? Maybe I'll stay lucky with the Audiens.

I tried these hearing aids and they are junk no matter what I did I couldn’t eliminate the feedback and when I did eliminate the feedback, I couldn’t hear anything and had to take them out when I talk to someone

When you talk about slim tube I'm not sure exactly what you mean. Are some wires/tubes thicker than others and what does that mean? Also which OTC hearing aide in your opinion works best in noisy environments?

Are those smaller than the Atom 2?

Purchased these a week ago. They work great except for noisy environments. I was at a restaurant with loud background music and couldn't hear what my daughter was saying when she was right next to me. Is there a setting I can use to reduce background noise on these hearing aides?

Miracle ears hearing aids have really good noise isolation and speech isolation.

Just got signia charge and go and it is painful and making my ear sore when I pull it out. Is that just a simple dome change?

Is the size plug end you put on the end too big or too small if it pops up in your ear and is not as down in as when u first inserted it I push it back down in my ear a little while later it seems to again not be in as tight as it was, I'm using the smallest one so I can't go to a smaller one? I bought these for our 96 year old mother, the domes in the smallest size offered were too large so approached Audien for assistance, staff were nice but only thing offered was to switch to the wired outside ear ones. Mother has arthritic hands and cannot insert the wired ones we tried them first which we told Audien, I am very disappointed that such a small issue such as domes could not be resolved and of course the 45 day is up and no help whatsoever. I recommend you walk away and find a different seller, there are many others out there that might be more understanding and helpful, I guess you get what you pay for.

Thanks for the honest review, Dave! These are absolutely the most expensive ($700) music ear buds you will ever buy, that only last 4 or 5 hpurs on a charge. As far a good hearing aid goes, they are very disappointing. Battery time sucks, size and fit sucks too, don't waste your money on these. HP needs to stick to selling printers and stop this scam. They're out of their element here! HP has focused on the people that can't afford real hear, professionally fitted hearing aids at $5,000 a pop!

I wonder how many Audien Pro2 users know this? I thought the purple UV mode was not working/broken in my Pro2 charger. I only charged when the charger wasn't connected to a power source, because I didn't want to over-charge the charger when all 4 green lights were showing, "fully charged". I called customer service for some help and they sent me replacements, the entire kit...devices, charger, everything. The replacement charger didn't light up the UV mode either, until I eventually plugged the charger into a power source and the UV mode turned on and worked as expected. The charger does not activate UV when it's disconnected from a power source, electrical outlet or USB port. So, if anybody is wondering why the UV mode is not working on their Pro2, try plugging it in and see if it activates the UV. I don't know why Customer Service didn't just tell me to plug the charger in to resolve the frustrating issue?
