The weird thing is (to me) this movie with no context behind the making of it and the rock… it’s an ok movie. Nothing new but it’s not BAD.

Black adam is my absolute favorite character. I actually thought the movie was kinda fun, but not true to the character but I it was fun. Its a shame that this happened because black adam v superman would be pretty awesome.

The only Snyder movie that unironically enjoy is his Watchmen adaptation, and honestly I don't think even *he* really gets what makes it good, because he can't recreate it.

What was he thinking?! Trying to take over DC with the Black Adam character? He had a better chance at becoming The Flash and trying to take over DC. 😂😂😂

About the Snyder-Cut: The Fanboys ALSO ignore, that the „Snyder Cut“ is not the „Snyder Cut“! If it was, it wouldn‘t be so full of reshot material and weird continuity stuff. Snyder‘s „cut“ we got is essentially the Whedon-cut, just longer and more VISUALLY coherent.

Sadly, even though Black Adam wasn't considered a "hit," it was a good movie. A sequel to that involving Henry Cavill's Superman would have been great. It could have set up so many sequels. It's not even about, "Oh no, Dwayne wouldn't agree to lose a fight in his contract." I'm sure none of them needed to necessarily lose to make a great movie. There could have been so many different possibilities. DC just decided to throw it all away by changing nearly every one of their iconic characters. Imagine Marvel changed Star-Lord, the Hulk, Thor, etc. None of it would make any sense, and that's where DC is at because they didn't do the universe right the first time, so they want to tear it down and restart. 🤦‍♂️

I don't know how people were surprised by this. Just look at literally every other appearance Dwayne has made. I think Jumanji and like the first and maybe second F&F movies he appeared in were the only good ones. He has exclusively played similar roles in movies that are "safe" in their profit risks: dumb comedies and dumb action flicks.

Based on the comics, it sounds more like Black Adam is DC's Apocalypse than its anti-Superman. Trying to make him into Red Son or Homelander or an Injustice-lite Superman seems like a fundamental misunderstanding of the character.

Dude. The constant changes of voice were distracting and irritating. I kept watching, because the general commentary and voice is entertaining. But this constant commentary to yourself WITH A DIFFERENT SOUND takes you out of experience

I don’t like the rock as an actor because every time he shows up, he’s never really acting as the character. He just acts like himself.

I'm glad this happened because finally everybody else began to see Dwayne Johnson for the conceited annoying prick he always has been. Seeing him become Cartman's ninja alterego (I am Bulrog and I have the power to have all the powers I want) was just nuts. I hate Dwayne Johnson and I always have.

I’ve always found the “bat-dick” controversy to be really funny. I don’t need to see Batman’s penis but I honestly don’t think it’s that big of a deal for there to be nudity in a comic intended for an adult audience.

Black Adam wasn't even close to as bad as people said. I'd watch it over most recent marvel movies easily and basically all DC movies lol Dark Knight is overrated. He just got really unlucky and came around at the worst time where everyone hated DC and just had no motivation to watch their stuff. If this came out right after man of steel, different story I promise
