I'd also recommend "B@" by the Calkins Brothers, which is a fan film more inspired by the Adam West version but as a edgy parody of the 60s series where cartoony superheroes and villins making puns are seen as jokes to the real world setting with the villains teaming up with a drug lord that's just a cold and violent business man in contrast to Penguin and Riddler who are so over-the-top. It's also a buddy comedy with Batman pushing Robin around to the point where he realizes is mistakes and wants to credit Robin for future cases. It's an hour long fan film but it's well written as a feature length movie. It's so endlessly entertaining, funny, and is just charming.

i remember watching Dead End and loving it. i also remember A short trailer for Grayson when i was a kid also ver fun. But if you like this a year ago some dude animated a batman short called "Batman broken promise" i highly recommend it. it had some great batman moments and also used a ver under appreciated batman villain.

When it comes to the armor v cloth Batman debate, I like a mix of both. A lightly-armored Batman makes the most sense. Allows smooth mobility AND protection. A good mid ground, I think.
