I have to say it's nicely laid out and the price is actually not bad

I bought outside NYC and live on land. I work from home and can get into NYC any weekend. It’s only a few hours drive away. No neighbors. No crowds. Quiet. Peaceful. Lake view. And … cost a hella lot less. I used to live in Seattle. Tired of city life living in a box apartment. Never again! It’s not worth it.

The problem isn't the purchase price, but the super high monthly maintenance fees

Hi Justin! So glad I found your channel(half my battle lol) I’m looking for a place in between Harlem and The Bronx. Why is it so hard to find a realtor familiar with using the VA home loan?
@justinmartineznyc2 күн бұрын
Thank you! I'm familiar Va loans. Most buidlings don't allow them since they need a minimum down payment of 10 to 20%. New development would probably be your best option. If you need a mortgage broker to assist you with the VA loan I can refer you to one.

The view is great but that’s as far as it goes. You’re paying 2.5 million to live like a working class person.

$1800 a month sounds good to me. Anything more is a joke.

Beautiful house but it's in Staten Island (close to Fresh Kills?). My favorites in this order - Brooklyn and Manhattan. Boricua?
@lv219873 күн бұрын
I love the way everyone these days says New York City ... which means Manhattan. But people say that when it's Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens to give those areas a bit more status than deserved. Nice narrow balcony but the view looks reminiscent of Brookkyn. So please tell the truth...where is this apartment.
@marblehillpjs3 күн бұрын
There’s a lot more places you can get for under 500k especially in the outer boroughs less than an hour into Manhattan
@marblehillpjs3 күн бұрын
You can get a 2-3 bedroom in little neck, douglaston, bayside for less than that forest hills apartment

It takes years of practice to perfect the NYC apartment tour walk. Confident strides, backwards as well as forward motion, arm gestures, all while talking.
