An easy way for a throttle control is like the very old cars used to be for the handicap. hand controlled throttle similar to a motor cycle or a T-wine throttle using the controller you have and a rocker-arm

I have a 2 stroke diesel with a carburettor. Will it still damage it? I mean, it doesn't have an injector nor valves...

Is there any way you or someone would have a kit or could someone help me w/ a club cart same as red one .I have beat cancer 2x and desperately need a cheap solution to get around my property and neighborhood. I would like to see it with brace section removed and that built in a way if you were intentionally to remove understanding your desire to return to original

I would religiously pack my laptop on vacations, just SO I could leave it packed / untouched. So much more satisfying to know I COULD work if I WANTED to, and was otherwise just ignoring it. That was one theory anyway; I can't think of a single time in 40 years I took more than a couple days vacation, other than between jobs, which as most of us know, isn't a real vacation.

Gotta say I'm massively jealous of you here! I'm a retired SwE who "just" missed my true calling to the automotive field. Just after I'd accepted my first job out of college, FoMoCo offered me a job without even an interview! But being the Good Little Idiot I was, I stuck with my commitment and so veered left into Automatic Teller Machines and from there, completely left into (gag!) retail. Devices and gadgets, to be sure, and I was a C / C++ guy to the bitter end. I'd kill to be able to sidekick with you on these projects, but ain't gonna happen, for private reasons.

I recently can across a video of a UGV named Themus and it is powered by a diesel electric engine and with zero experience or knowledge of this, I thought maybe I can make something like this and your video came up explaining what a petrol electric engine system is 😳. I think we are all connected to the matrix and it can read it minds. You have earned a follower sir thanks for information

throw away all the electricals and let the ICE drive the wheels, it will be more economical as each component absorbs energy and it will be more responsive, and fun ! !,

You don't need that fancy bearings for your motor mount a simple angle iron from Home Depot would be perfect

Keep going!!! Could you list parts and sources so we can see how each part's ratings are working with the load generated. This is a wonderful experiment, sort of shade tree mechanic meets lab tech. What voltage/current is the cart motor, does the alternator potential output make overload a danger?

You should design the same concept into a quad 4x4 motor bike.

Add a smaller motor, a couple of batteries and some super-capictors and you have a hybrid.

5v control voltage into the alternator will generally produce about 13.5 volts out of the alternator. Not sure if that information is useful or not

This is how cars should work not batteries bs. I bet you could easily get 50 mpg with a full size car and larger engine.

Soon there will be a lot of battery-electric cars available with worn-out batteries for cheap. This idea sure has a big bussiness potential in future by converting all these cars to petroleum battery system.

i've been thinking a while about the possible replacement transmission for the renault, my ma had a used car a good while back that has a transmission that's close to the right shape, probably bolt right in, eagle medallion. it's one of those front drive things, but with the engine inline instead of transverse. though it's an automatic she had, there might be a manual version. course, i might be remembering things wrong, cause it could be facing the wrong direction, someone who remembers better can illuminate.
