Technical Sally Acorn did make into an old Sega Genesis game called Sonic Spinball. Sonally forever, plus if everyone ever notices in games, shows, or the comic Sonic is always trying to get away from Amy. Whereas Sally doesn't try to overly smother Sonic consistently like Amy does, Sonic is a free spirit and likes choosing to be with Sally more, for Sally gets Sonic. On the one hand Sonamy is more aimed at Japanese Version of Sonic, which he has a presidential vibe, on the another hand Sonally is more aimed at American Version of Sonic, which has a more of a rock n roll vibe. Personally I choose American Sonic and Sonally every time, but other Sonic Fans have the right to choose for themselves with there own Freewill. Whether you choose one or the other it really don't matter, a Sonic Fan is a Sonic Fan no matter what. This is just a debate that's gone on for years and decades now, all together we Sonic Fans are very dedicated in our beliefs. Peace

The real SA3 isn’t Sonic 06. It’s PROJECT 06 and I’m tired of pretending that it’s not.

I became a Sonic fan because I really enjoyed SA2's story and got super invested into these characters and stories. SA2 showed me the power video games have as a storytelling device, And now, I just want more really good Sonic stories. The over all tone of the story doesn't matter that much to me, I just wish that the characters in the story actually care about what is going on.

As Amy has become more chill, it’s not as hard a buy as it once was. Thing is, if we’re talking about game Sonic specifically, you’d either need someone comfortable with long distance or willing to follow on his adventures. He’s not the settling down type in the main continuity. Even the girl crazy aspect is an invention of Dic cartoons. In other words, the mainline Sonic could probably not give two hoots about spending lots of time with someone like Sally who’s managing a whole resistance 24/7.

never got into the shipping wars but admittedly sally was the one i saw first. and comparing to the version i saw. the original cartoon and Sonic X. i felt Sally was the better partner to Sonic. Amy does love sonic she is at her core a fan girl and will support him through bad ideas. Sally will challenge him, make him pause and think be an actually partner instead of a follower.

In *EVERY FANDOM* there is some sort of shipping war. Some are just more insane than others. TADC has Jax X Pomni, Pomni X Ragatha, Cane X Kinger ect. JJBA has Jotaro X Kakyoin, FNaF has *SO MANY DAMN SHIPS* like Monty X Glamrock freddy, Glamrock Chica X Roxanne wolf, Even Sun X Moon, and some Moon X Monty or Sun X Glamrock freddy! *every* *Single* *Fandom* will have some sort of shipping war. And at least neither Sonamy or sonally are like Sonic 06 where he canonically got kissed by a human princess. Just keep in mind that there can be a hell of a lot worse ships.

I was always one of those guys who loved the Sonic games and really didn't care about the love life of the guy. As far as I was concerned, Sonic was just the hedgehog who jumped on springs and smashed open robots that contained animals. All I did was watch people fight over it, sit back, eat a taco and watch the nonsense unfold.
