I usually love Dick's interviews but jeez this is really poor. He seems to have done no preparation at all and his questions are just made up and not very good. They are nervous and he completely fails to put them at their ease so there's no energy or conversation: his fault not theirs. Extraordinary to see a professional TV interviewer get to the last 5 minutes and run out of questions. He actually says, "What shall we do now?" Honestly - I'm a big fan of DC and you can look at my comments over the years and you'll see me praising his. But, keeping it real, this is just a really really bad interview.

He seems quite a likeable chap. I might be in the minority but I really like this interview (the whole thing - not just this excerpt). I think it's a lot of fun. That "what shall we do now" bit probably isn't lack of preparation... that would have been scripted, and the "mudwrestling" bit too. The rest of it seems fairly natural. ABBA later said that they never regretted choosing Dick Cavett.

Frida has a half brother too out of seeing her real Da itmf it wasn't for her young half brother she wouldn't of never meet her dad so he was a real nice young guy .😊

6 May 2024 ~ So very heart-warming , mild , sincere and fresh . I like the absence of English sub-titles , I like to look at the body-language and listen to the spoken language . ABBA was the real " Fabulous Foursome " , in so many ways . I am 61 , I remember them " back in the days " of our American , European , and Scandanavian youth . They were sincere souls , maybe we all were sincere young people , back then .
