I'm living proof that you can teach yourself from KZbin. Six years ago, a close friend of mine who owned a backyard small engine business was forced to move out of state, and he gave me all of the machines people abandoned in his yard. I think it was 3 riding mowers and 2 push mowers, if I remember right. I just started watching videos. I fixed one of the riding mowers and both push mowers. I built one good mower out of the remaining two riding mowers. I built it from the ground up (I finally completely finished it last week). Six years later, I fix and flip and operate my own repair business out of my yard. I have no formal training at all. I just watched videos and got my hands dirty.

That my friend is how it should be done. I have always said you learn by doing.. I am proud of you for learning from KZbin.. I still learn new stuff every week. I am no ashamed and even after decades of working on machines I dont know it all ..

@@MunkyWrench I am constantly learning something new. If you think you know everything, then you should pay closer attention. That's my philosophy.

Well that's 10min06secs of useless information...................I bought a John Deere 318 with all four tires FLAT drove it around my pace for 5 HOURS not a one of the Tires broke the Bead. Had to take them off the tractor and use my Hyd press to get the beads to brake.............

what had them so stuck? ive had tough ones in the past 30 years but rarely one that wouldn't break like this. sorry you have so much trouble

@@MunkyWrench mainly just rust and dry rot on the tires. Had to take a sawsall on them to get them off.
@MunkyWrench24 күн бұрын
@@garyc4983 Yeah I had one like that a few years back.. was left in a swamp for a while and the tires melted to the rims. was not salvageable. everything was too rusted.. I am sorry my video wasted your time on this project but next time you have a flat give it a try
