So you use straight mineral oil which we call parrafin oil in Australia. Do you do other treatments for Varroa using other products.

I did a google search "will boric acid kill bees" and found this statement: Boric acid or borax powder is an effective way of getting rid of bees the natural way. ... Borax works as effectively on bees as it does on ants. Bees get the dust on themselves and bring it to their nest, so the whole population will get affected and eventually die......

Dude you don't sprinkle the stuff around the hive , pay attention , you put it in the corflute political signe stuff for the beetles to eat , the bees cant eat it , wake up.

Was Mr. Kuchenmeister ever the subject of a feature length documentary, or perhaps PART of such a documentary? I have a friend who keeps bees and he tells me that everything he's learned about the craft he learned from Herr Kuchenmeister. It must be so since the gentleman is all over KZbin with his classes. I believe it was Albert Einstein who said "If the bees die, we die." Probably not an exact quote, but true nonetheless, I think.

I've seen the individual cd case where the tabs are broken off to permit entry. That size seems much more reasonable to crawl into than the cells of the Coroplast.

I'm seeing a lot of people are using foggers but using oxalic acid dissolved in grain alcohol. A fire hazard issue is there, but have you looked into this? Your thoughts? It's looking easier than the vaporizer or the dribble technique. Thanks for any input.
