I’m GLAD the Switch games got this much heat from fans. It keeps us 3DS fans from suffering the torment we’ve been experiencing from older fans, especially “Genfourers” and “Genfivers.” One thing I love is how I kept telling people back in 2018, 2019, and 2020 that we do NOT need Sinnoh remakes, and that Generation 4 is overrated. Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl is released and the fans are NOT happy. Ah, and us 3DS-era fans are just chilling.

They allude to the famous oranges of Spain and the grapes (and wines) of Portugal, following the trend of Sword and Shield (another great name) that refers to British knights. This orange and grape theme is easily seen throughout the game, with both fruits present at various points in the game, including in both academies: "naranja" is orange in Spanish and "uva" means grape in both Portuguese and Spanish. Finally, the most famous wine in Portugal is from Porto. In Paldea, there is the city "Porto Marinada" in practically the same location as the city of Porto. Likewise, the most famous orange in Spain is from Valencia, which in turn is represented by "Levincia", also in a location very close to reality. I lived in Portugal for almost 10 years and am currently living in Spain and I was very happy to see the region represented in the game, even if it left something to be desired in other aspects.

I have fond memories playing Omega Ruby for the several days I was stuck in a hospital post-lung surgery when I was 17. Playing through these games recently, Moon to be specific, it's maddening how much the devs go out of their way to avoid double battles in Alola. There'll be times 2 team Skull grunts approach to battle, then they'll make you battle them 1 by 1, 1 after the other... It's enough to throw the game down in anger. Plus, not to mention Nintendo now taking down Internet servers for 3ds, so essentially, Festival Plaza is straight up useless now, too.

If they can't get the title right, I really don't think the rest of the game fares well...

This is how I would do it: S: B2W2, Emerald, Platinum. A: HeartGold/SoulSilver, Black/White, Sun/Moon, USUM. B: XY, FRLG, Diamond/Pearl, ORAS. C: Ruby/Sapphire, Crystal. D (all trash): Let's Go Eevee/Pikachu, Sword/Shield, Sword/Shield, LegendsArceus, Scarlet/Violet, Blue/Red/Yellow, Gold/Silver. Emerald has pomeg berry glitch, FRLG has mail glitch, DP has void glitch. Glitches can be fun. BDSP is not a Pokémon game, but Animal Crossing.

Fun fact about Hop: in a doujin he gets cucked because Gloria has seggs with Leon... So that's another reason he must stay in low tier. Soooo... How about a PokéWaifu tier list?

Let's go - a good game.. for the 3DS Sword and shield - absolutely aysbmall, this game shouldn't have released - the fact they chose England to fumble on is extra salt in the wound Legends Arceus - this is a mobile game. BSDP - soul-less DEmake Scarlet & Violet - preformance issues aside it's at least decent as a game on it's own.

i don't cosider B2W2 or USUM to be 3rd games, Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum are the 3rd games. i can add Yellow to it for the west but in japan it was the 4th, Blue was the actual 3rd game
