Spot on , 2 mechanics said I have to get a new battery. I went to O’Reilly’s auto part in Tamarac Florida. They had a whole kit for $6.80 and worked like a charm. Really appreciate it. Saved me over $200 bucks.

What if the threading on the bolt is fine but the battery thread is stripped ? Do I need a new battery ?

I have the exact generator. It will not run with eco switch off. New carb, new inverter board, 1500+ dollars later still not fixes! Any ideas would be much appreciated

I never liked the hand pump grease gun because you cant guide the hose securely and pump at the same time because it will often leak grease so I like my air driven gun with a trigger to operat the pump action leaving my other hand free

No no. Finding the leak is easy. Stopping it is a nightmare. I threw my first pool away and the second now has a leak. I tried every patch you can think of, ... none seal properly. The best turned out to be Gorilla tape. A big weakness in Intex pool design!

One of the night life critters popped my pool ring Night 1 and ive been having a hard time with the soap and spray bottle method. Thank you very much, this is very helpful. Ill also be hsing a dry erase marker so i can utilize where ive already been with the plastic wrap.

Does this work on any inflatable pool?

Yay. I was skeptical, but did it for about 5 minutes and found it. One thing I will note: it’s easier to find if the ring is inflated as much as possible (even though it’s leaking). So fill it up, and then quickly be prepared to use the Saran Wrap. If you don’t find the leak, fill up the ring again and keep looking. 🎉

Thank you so much for sharing this amazing advice. It really works and is better than the soap mix with a brush. I did however use a soap solution to find the exact spot where the leak is after finding the general area of the leak You just need to practice patience, but in the end worth the effort and rewarding when you don't have to inflate the tube 2 to 3 times a day. As a matter of interest, we were unsure how the leak happened and then came across a discussion thread on another page. Someone had the same problem and mentioned they had lots of birds in their garden. We also have that and noticed them sitting regularly on the tube of the pool. Their little nails are very sharp and could potentially cause a puncture. Beste solution to limit this is to keep the cover on if you are not using the pool. Strengths to all out there ❤

The way I fix zerks that wont take grease is- As zerks cost like what? 10c I throw the zerk away I install a new one. Any mech worth a SH should have several zerks of each size on hand if you are going to do lube work. !

I have never seen one of these, I always removed the zerk and cleaned out the old grease and then filled it with penetrating oil and replaced the fitting and pumped grease in behind the penetrating oil to force it through. If this didn't work I would use a torch if I had one handy.
