Another excellent video from you, thank you both. Lesotho still on my list of To Do. Christo, may I ask what is the height of your bakkie to the top of your closed tent? My garage door entrance is just 243cm - whilst I look for a rig like yours but rather a Hilux and not a LC. Thank you. Ian

Thanks Ian! I think it’s 2,3m-something (2” lift, 33” tyres). My garage door height is 2,5m and there’s room to spare. I’ll double check for you. I had Alu-Cab’s Hilux with the modCAP in here as well and that wasn’t much lower

Lesotho Highlands epic country , next time you travel to the Katse Dam push further to Ha Lejone you can stay at Chokes Guesthouse ,Bar , meals wonderful people and a good friend and possibly arrange with Katse Fish Farm to buy a Rainbow Trout . He also has land further up the river were you could wild camp and fish for Rainbow Trout and check out some Caves. Fossil Parks in Lesotho Highlands you can walk and see Dinosaur Footprints in the Rock . So much to see .

This is my territory. Green Green Natal. I'm just down the road from "Notties" as we call it and all the hills around Howick are fully green. Four of us did that same drive in my Toyota 4D4 a few years ago, up Sani Pass to that hilltop bar and down back home again.

Great video! We camped at Highland Nook, near Underberg about 10 years ago when we drove through Lesotho from the Eastern Cape and exited down Sani pass. We stayed at the same at Katse dam and were able to do the dam wall tour which was an epic experience. The Katse Lodge was also still operating and we a great brunch and very decent Maluti Lagers. The botanical garden at Katse was also very interesting.
