Great video. It sounds like a bucket of bolts in the cab, how does the cruiser compare to the fortuner for ride comfort? I know they both had aftermarket suspension.

What are the lime green birds with white cheeks and yellow throats? I try to look up the birds as I go along but no luck this time. Love seeing the desert landscape. It is raining here in the autumn in northern Alberta, Canada - quite a contrast.

I live in the Nevada desert of America, what do you suggest to keep inside cool for our 115 F summers?
@GetOutGO
@GetOutGO 3 күн бұрын
We’re regularly in the Kalahari, also around those temps. We have 2 Sirocco fans and usually try to find some shade. If you then open all the doors with the mozzie nets down it cools down quite a bit. You can look at something like an Ecoflow Wave aircon but the power usage doesn’t make it very practical

We love ours! Almost 2.5 years and no real problems… the big screens aren’t great and ours could have been sealed a bit better but we sleep in it most nights (maybe 80-85% of the time). I’d definitely like the longer version but with a short 6 y/o we’re good for the moment. Enjoy!

Hi, thank you for the great content - just curious in winter is it also too cold to use the iKamper? Looking to purchase a RTT for my SUZUKI Jimny but deciding between that and the Front Runner you had previously. Leaning to the Front Runner due to weight but know you mentioned upgrading to the iKamper is a consideration because the Front Runner does not have much insulation, right?
@GetOutGO

The Ikamper’s insulation is great 👍 If you’re in the Northern hemisphere you can also get the inner for even more insulation

There is one area that this setup is more superior than most, “the ability to get up in the morning, sneak into the lower section for a quick cup of coffee and rusks and look out the window into the open unfenced big 5 wilderness all in the safety of your setup. Nothing other than the troopy conversion can give you that. Period
