My last real LC experience was 50-odd years ago, when they were sold with GM 3.8 and 4.1 engines. They should have fitted the 5.750 V8 instead, if only for a proper stereo system from De Graaf. 😊🎉

A long time ago, my ride was a 100 series 4.2 TDi, lots of oomph. Next came a Lexus with that sweet Yamaha 4.7 V8. Neither had audible exhausts, sadly.

Hi Ruan, it’s an oilskin from Drizabone (Australia). They don’t make hats anymore unfortunately. Similar hat is an Akubra but they’re crazy expensive.

I test drove the 2.8, I prefer the V8. I think a bigger engine will do less work to achieve the same result as a smaller one so will probably last longer. It also has a lot more soul! Watch out for my video on a 2.8 coming out in 2 weeks 😉
