Athena's argument for Apollo was also that the sirens were going to kill them so its self defense at that point. for Hephaestus his crew did betray ody first and later after feeling betrayed refused to listen to his warnings about the cows, ody shouldn't be responsible for their stupidity at that point that was the consequence of their actions and like eurochlas said, you want all the power then you bare all the consequences. the fact that Aphrodite was one of the main causes for the war kicks her argument in the garbage the end plus the cyclop part didn't last so long that it killed odys mother. Ares, not everyone can win a war outright, you know the strategy portion of things that he kinda threw out the window that Athena has. its work smarter not harder situation, plus what were they going to do with Scylla they're on a boat kinda hard to fight a giant monster woman with 6 eel like dog heads for a crotch and able to capsize said boat quite easily and they barely have weapons. Again strategy sucky strategy but strategy none the less.

I like all of this song, but Athena’s “solo” part. I mean it’s not bad, it’s just not the chorus

Also!! Athena could make the point to Aphrodite that it wasn’t Odysseus’s fault his mother died, and if his crew hadn’t intervened he could’ve saved his mom. The crew released the wind Ody’s mother saw, not Odysseus himself.

My theory is that Apollo used his powers to make everyone sing to communicate so he could jam out to the problems. (I could be VERY wrong, I’m not as knowledgeable in Greek Mythology stuff)

God games? I'm currently reading a book about demigods playing deadly games (which you shoukd read). They're all very gay. One of the characters even says "No hetero, but...". It's called the Sunbearer Trials and I specifically came to this comments section because I think you should read it.

i hate the "ares is a protector of women" thing going around cuz its based on a single story and i dont think killing your daughters rapist while ignoring the fact that literally everyone in your family is a rapist makes you a feminist (especially because ares isnt excluded from that last bit)

7:16 in our universe, we see them singing. But in their universe, (Epic the musical) they are talking. So I guess it is a musical world but they are like, talking. But I think the sirens are the only ones that are singing. This is just what I think. I'm sorry, I'm bad at explaining things. 😓

7:43 *sigh* Personally I'm so done with people confusing what is happening when people Sing in musicals. I blame this on comedies where characters say 'Stop singing!' In musicals the character *are* and *aren't* singing. It's them communicating. If they weren't singing they would be talking. It's just the medium, the way musicals do dialouge. It doesn't mean that they are singing 'singing.' I always assume thar it's *not* a self aware situations. Because otherwise I would be taken out of the musical so quickly.

My reactions because I can: Odysseus: **commits mass murder** Me: "Pfft, well they deserved it." That one dude: "We can still defeat the king if we all attack the prince!" Me: "GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF MY TELEMACHUS." That one dude: "Got him!" **gets speared like a kabab** Odysseus: **continuing his murder spree but 10x more pissed off** Me: "WOOOOOO! GO GO GO!" That one dude: "Old king forgive us instead! So that no more blood is shed! Let's have open arms instead!-" Me: "Stfu, stop tryna be the main character-"

For the last rebuttal in Athena and Hephaestus' section, Athena could point out that whoever opened the wind bag had to have been on Ody's ship. Yes, he did have 600 men when they left Troy, but Polyphemus took out 7 men, so his ship had 43 men (since each ship in the fleet had 50 people). The wind bag was opened on his ship, so it had to have been one of the 43 men aboard his ship. (Im liking the video so far, i just felt big brained and wanted to write it)

A little argument against what you say in 12:00. Ody knew eurylochus was at least partially to blame for the bag incident. He told Ody that just before they met Scylla
