I disagree when you Say She and Jimmy are initially Friends. I think everything suggests they were in a secret relationship from the beginning, at least sexually.

The plot aginst Howard was the first time in the series where I wanted Jimmy to fail. Even with his faults, I can relate to Howard, the Saul portion I cannot relate to, the risk that he tasks the careleness this is not something that makes sense to many people.

The easiest way to see if a content creator is in it for money instead of making good content for people to enjoy is how they censor their videos. A few of your videos have over a million views yet you have less than 15k subs. Similar channels that don't censor have half a million subs... so there you go. You could have built a loyal following with your insight in these videos, but getting on your knees to take in YTs big D in your mouth by censoring your own content tells everyone all that they need to know about you. KZbin is killing free speech with monetization standards and you're complicit.

Charles McGill made Jimmy McGill into Saul Goodman. He really wanted a fresh start. Isn’t what the justice system is all about? And he would let him for the life of him. If he had helped his brother out and be proud of him for becoming a lawyer none of this would have happened.

The moment when howard invited jimmy to a friendly boxing match, was so sweet after all the scams jimmy pulled on him. It's like his character was becoming more humane. All that to be killed by jimmy and jim, literally. So tragic
@JimMilton-ej6zi9 күн бұрын
You have to remember that howard at every turn sabotaged jimmy, if it wasn't for howard then slippin jimmy would've never came back and he would've kept on the straight and narrow. you can say that chuck did it really and that howard wanted jimmy to be successful but in reality if you follow someone else's orders then you're just as, if not more responsible for it than they were. Howard had it coming basically, and in no way is he a good, innocent person.

@@marissao5497 i don't think you know how much involvement Howard really had in keeping jimmy down. It was by chucks orders but he still did it willingly
@marissao54977 күн бұрын
@@JimMilton-ej6zi “kept Jimmy down” is a ridiculous statement. I assume you are talking about refusing Jimmy a job at HHM. Firstly, it is not Howard’s place to interfere in the relationship between two brothers. Senior partners need to be in agreement to hire someone and chuck was NEVER going to agree to hire Jimmy at HHM. You are vastly overestimating Howard’s influence in this situation. On top of that, Howard still put his neck on the line to get Jimmy a job at Davis and Main so he could work on the sandpiper case and he intentionally got himself fired. Then when Chuck died, he offers Jimmy a job at HHM and Jimmy destroys his car and tries to ruin his reputation in return. Be objective. You like Jimmy and need to believe Howard was a bad guy to justify what happened to him. But the whole point is there is no justification and this is why Kim and Jimmy cannot live with themselves by the end of the show.

I disagree. Huell is merely a catalyst character. I would argue that Lalo Salamanca is the most complex character, almost a perfect villain. Does he have feelings? Does he care about his murdered servants? Does he care about his nephew or his uncle? Hard to say. But he's a much better and more important character. Also, Jimmy has a permit. I gave you shot, but you don't add anything to this universe. All your do is run down the plot points. It's almost like AI or something.

As much as I hate Chuck he was right about Jimmy. I do wonder if he didn’t sabotage Jimmy if Jimmy would’ve never turned into Saul. He would’ve probably never hated Howard. Kim would’ve never left HHM. It’s hard to say but I mean all those things happening is a much better story.

Chuck, in a way, gets a bad rap. It is true that he is not honest with himself about his motives for the things he does to Jimmy, but Chuck is not wrong about Jimmy's character. Is it possible Jimmy could have gone down a different path if Chuck had given him a chance to succeed? Sure. But it's just as likely Slipping Jimmy would have resurfaced. We'll never know for sure what might have been. You don't get redos in life.

Another interesting thing about Chuck is his desire for the truth and just desserts. For example, Chuck is vexed because everybody loves Jimmy and they're unable to see him as the "Slipping Jimmy" Chuck has come to know. Their father denied Jimmy's theft, his wife loved his sense of humour, Howard loved his hustle, and everybody is taken with his natural charisma. Not only is he jealous of Jimmy, like you mentioned in the video, because he wishes he had those things too, but also because nobody sees Jimmy for what he is (or at least what Chuck condemns him to be which has been proven to be true to some extent due to Jimmys actions over the years). That's the reason why Chuck sabotages Jimmy's law opportunities. He feels like Jimmy is undeserving and people cant see the truth of who he is. Therefore, (in Chuck's mind) it's Chuck's responsibility to see that justice is done in regards to Jimmy's success, that the law is not made a mockery of by his little brother, and that Jimmy is not elevated to the level of success that would make him Chuck's peer (because he's less deserving). Its all a part of Chucks twisted sense of fairness through the lens of his own ego and knowledge of Jimmy's past habits that most people arent privy to. Brilliant Writing!

Chuck manipulating Jimmy’s career is disgusting. And he is angry that Jimmy has to do criminal stuff again but it’s because Chuck made sure Jimmy never got any opportunities. The final nail in the coffin is when he says to Jimmy, “You never really mattered much to me.” He could rot in Hell after that.

You made me see Kim in a different way. Especially the point about her choosing to do evil more so than Jimmy. She's such a great character that I started disliking her only after they went after Howard.

Something about Howard's personality and mannerisms annoyed me when I first watched the show. But the end of it I saw he was the most moral character of them all. He stood by Chuck through thick and thin, even at the expense to firm's reputation. Was willing to help Jimmy and then shoulder the burden of being the bad guy without saying a word.

Howard didn’t deserve any of this. He actually acted decently throughout the series. He shouldn’t have run interference for Chuck, but he was in a no-win situation with that. He came off kinda douchey in the beginning, but that’s what we were meant to see. As the series progressed and we got to know him, I think he was actually a pretty great guy. What Jimmy and Kim did to him was terrible. Also, I’m very confused about Kim. She was too good for this world one minute, and then the next, she was just a terrible person. She didn’t seem to have the same progression as those around her. Like someone flipped a switch.

Your kids reach the right age to watch this - Better Call Saul or Breaking Bad first ? Or maybe some sort of mixed order ? The significance of both Howard and Chuck banging their heads while falling somehow tells that Jimmy had their blood on his hands. And it goes to show that Chuck truly was the only one who knew Jimmy well enough.
