I love the so-called investor class! You hear that companies are overpriced, stocks are overpriced, the market is overpriced, however It's inflation driven by profit-seeking by companies driven to provide dividends, not driven by any global crisis, that is slowing consumer spending. It's the latter that will drive the next depression. Since they sort it out the subprime mortgage scam, the next thing to fall will be overpriced cars and their associated leases.

Stocks and property is a shelter from inflation so they will keep going up. More tariffs are coming especially on Chinese product, some will see 100% tariff, so expect to see higher prices. Government debt is parabolic, so inflation is inevitable hence stock and property is where to be, even if main street is not spending. Inflation/tariff is a sells tax, and is the only acceptable tax in this society. For grins and giggles, an average car in china is $10,000. They have problem with deflation, their costs are 1/5 to 1/6 of US and getting lower.

$118,000 and $96,000 for a pickup? Keep them! And yes, the job market for low wage jobs is healthy! For high-tech high paying jobs, not so much!

No worries America. Keep voting for simpletons with degrees that tell you what to do and send yOUr money overseas to people who sound like they are spitting when they talk, don’t care about you, and are accustomed to the US providing welfare thousands of miles away. End result of voting, don’t want to hear any crying. Shut up, send your money overseas, pay 150k for that F150.

Question: After the global debt collapse, what comes next??? Answer: A systemic general poverty that lasts for generations. Socialist governments are not the people's friend.

Been out of the market for 2 years now after a great run from 2014, the market is 50% over valued for the term investor, I am happy taking my 3% until the correction comes. Don't be greedy!

These conglomerates have done well raising prices inordinately through and after Covid. In doing so they have made for example Mayonnaise a luxury item, reduced demand, and emptied the pockets of their customers strapped with insanely increased RE Taxes, Insurance, Car payments, Rent... unchecked greed by monopolies and stock buybacks some of the root causes.

If you take on a new vehicle for more than the length of the warranty to afford the monthly rental check if you or the finance Co are then responsible for the maintenance if the have an engine failure you could be stuck with the bill

As one who recently needed a truck, I refused to spend 80k for a truck. I instead went with a used truck even at 34K, but it was much cheaper than a new one (law of contrast). 34K should be the top end of a new truck. They're just not built well enough to ask anything more. It's no longer about providing good value; it's about "what can we soak people for" and keep them perpetually in debt to the banks, and rake in high profit margins for the manufacturers. It's all the result of greed and crony capitalism.

Not my problem. Buying new is generally a poor choice unless you are seriously wealthy. I paid off my homes instead. Any decent truck outside the rust belt is good for twenty or thirty years including mine. I could buy a new ride for cash today because I would never buy a new ride. Anyone can do this with some determination. Determination is worth at least as much as raw intelligence.

Yes, there may be a significant price correction for consumer goods, possibly a crash. But there won’t be a stock market crash: those future consumer price reductions are mostly already factored into stock/share prices.
