Same guilty pleasure LHH I am weaning myself off but I have anxiety after watching them folks, all VH1 shows and Love and whatever else. Especially Love After Lock & Lock. I have a little testimony too.

My brother was praying to our “ancestors” and putting his feet in the mud. He got possessed and he’s been since. That was 10+ years ago. My mom tries to say it’s schizophrenia etc. But I’ve always known the truth. And because of that , I’ve been targeted by him. It’s crazy all of the things that are witchcraft and people don’t realize. I used to be “spiritual” and encountered so many demons.

CORRECTION and I hope that Megan goes back and PUBLICLY corrects this - God will NEVER "force" us to do anything. He ALWAYS allows us to choose Him and His ways or our own way. Saul had been anointed as king, and was found among the prophets, prophesying and declaring God's works, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It was at this point, that he was "turned into another man". However, he got into trouble because he didn't wait for Samuel and offered to God the sacrifice that was ONLY to be offered by the Priest, not a king. After this, Saul understood God's order and I believe that he repented of what he did, and THEN God gave him another heart to do things His way. (I looked at Megan's facial expression when he said this and my face had somewhat of the same expression). Duet 30:15-16, 19; Joshua 24;15; John 1:12-13; John 3:16. Thank for this conversation. I have a son who is dual diagnosis adhd and autism. As a single parent in a rural town in GA finding help and community has been hard. Knowing the right treatment plan, finding the right resources, and finding the right school has been so difficult. I have no friends or family in my town so everything is on me. I am still searching for a Godly friend group and church home. Thank for speaking on these topics. This interview genuinely blessed and encouraged me. Please keep talking about being a caregiver, black church culture, and everything else. Some of us really need it.

This is definitely a on time word! Lately when I was having my quiet time with the Lord, I've been asking God I need balance in my life because I feel so overwhelmed and tired with the circumstances that I'm facing. He led me to scripture John 14:27 that I've been meditating on for the past few weeks that brings me peace, comfort and calmness. Everything you said Megan I can relate. Thank you so much for being transparent and giving all of us a phenomenal teaching as we continue to our Christ walk with the Lord. I usually don't comment on videos but WOW!! All the episodes are really good. THIS ONE THOUGH!! God is really moving!! I needed this one!!

I never ever comment but I thought this was important to add…. Fundamentals of faith is simple and you don’t need to read anything except the word to understand it. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the foundation of faith . The gospel is what saved us and if we don’t meditate and remember the gospel then what does it matter if we mature if we don’t always go back to the gospel that saved us … The bread … Jesus breaking his body and dying for us … the blood … cleansing our sins undeservingly… that’s it… When we confessed and believed in Him we then invited Him to dwell within us. He is the chief cornerstone and when you realize that a cornerstone is actually what is needed as a foundation to a house you can understand that everything that we build on is built on the gospel ! and what he did for us will always be the foundation . And thats why we take communion… do this in remembrance of ME ! 1 Corinthians 3:11 “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭11‬ 1 Corinthians 11:24-26 “and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭11‬:‭24‬-‭26‬ Ephesians 2:20-21 “built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. I so needed to hear since the beginning of this year I just have not been wanting to be in Church. The Church I go to is a great Church and they drill in us to know God for ourselves but from the time I entered I just have been doing thing, volunteering for whatever I could, ushering, volunteering to help at every revival, in every prayer, on every prayer line whatever. Now I know that I don’t have a relationship with God I thought I did but my life says otherwise. I am now trying to build that relationship that I so desperately want with God but sometimes I don’t know how and if I’m doing it right but I know reading my word and prayer are my foundation right now, I’m trying to read more books and I do love this podcast and a few others. I never heard about discipleship until I listen to Jackie Hill Perry and I believe that is so important.

I’m barely halfway through this episode and I just can’t sit still with all this knowledge being dropped!! Ugh such a great episode!

I don't think you should force yourself to share details about your life if you're not ready or don't want to. With that said, I think we should remain open to what God wants us to share to edify others. I'm going through a divorce now and I keep it quiet in my everyday life because it's not time to share but I've already let God know that I'm going to share it with the world if it means helping others. I think yes people just want to know but others need to know how you got through it.
