I felt like my heart didn’t matter, and my emotions were a burden to carry and so I crammed them down into the depths of me. When I encountered Christ at 19, He opened up the floodgates. 😅 i’m so grateful that I am able to cry, not only for the things that I get emotional about in my life, but the Lord has softened my heart to be empathetic towards others too. Something that I never imagined I’d be able to do. I’m so grateful for the gift of tears, because those tears keep my heart soft and are caught by the one true God each and every time.
