Wow, that is powerful, Nona!! Sometimes rejection may be putting you in the position that God wants you. How would we know if another situation is right for us if we don't allow ourselves to walk away from the current one! Amen! Amen! Amen!

This episode was for me. I've received nothing but rejections this year. I have basically not accomplished much in my career and I was finally giving up. This message made me want to carry on because I want to see what purpose all those rejections positioned me for. Thank you Meghan and Nona. Thank you Jesus for speaking to me.

Don’t mind me, just taking notes and marking timestamps that touched me 26:44 “instead of going inward, go upward” … so true ! 34:12 “In order to experience rejection, you have to first have the hope you’ll be accepted” … this makes so much sense 37:45 “guilt is the idea I made a mistake, shame is I am a mistake” 42:45 “you’re just the avenue in which they decided to release their anger” (43:10) 👏🏾… it’s so easy to forget that hurt people will hurt people . 47:15 51:56 “what they care about is protecting an “image” “What is this rejection positioning me for?”

hey yall, in totality is really doing God's work. if you got anything from this episode can you please help me in leaving a thumbs up? the whole world needs to hear these messages but it can only happen if we all help in supporting it. the least we can do after being blessed by these videos is leave a like, comment, or share. 39k views and only 1.9k likes is crazy to me, lets do our part!

Such a great chat. Other people's choices have nothing to do with us. Let's not internalise this, the rejection is their choice it's not an indictment.

Megan if only you knew how your podcast and your transformation in God and how you allowed him to use you inspire me . Not only that but I want to experience him so deeply because of you and ever guest you have never miss. This pod is so healing . Ever last part of it and I am so glad God lead me to your platform . I can’t to see what God has for you! And on the other side of this for me . Every episode has resonated with each season I been going though and I just want to say thank you for allowing him to use you .

“God uses rejection.” Absolutely! “Pain is rejection’s wrapping paper. The gift is on the inside.” Wow! Sounds like a basic statement but it’s a powerful statement! “You cannot get free from a bondage you haven’t acknowledged!” 😮💨 Okay?? The rejection mindset can really keep us in bondage but if we truly view if from the eyes that God is sovereign and all knowing, we can rest in the fact that even in rejection, He is working all things for the good and His glory. This episode was sooo good! Sooo very helpful!♥️ 🤍🤍🤍🛖🛖🛖🤎🤎🤎

I've experienced rejection in every facet of my life. It is normal for me which is why it has created a positive connotation on my life. I always put my best foot forward in which Allah has shown me fits for me. Getting rejected is like trying to climb up a tall slide with socks on. You slide enough you start thinking maybe i should take my socks off.

It really hurt my heart TO THE CORE 💔 to hear Miss Nona relate that Her Mama ACCUSED her as a 5 year old of being a party to her own SA, saying “IF she had only kept her Legs CLosed” the assault would’ve NEVER happened 😢 How absolutely Bereft and Devoid of Moral Compass must one be to make such a VULGAR statement to a CHILD. I pray God that someday SOON, Miss Nona’s Mama will Beg for her FORGIVENESS.

What's a good prayer to God while trying to cast your cares on to him after rejection and acknowledging that you are hurt by someone or being rejected by someone?
@shelbyspellman30462 ай бұрын
Lord, it says in your Word to caste my worries on You & you’ll take the burden(s). I’d be dishonest if I say I don’t feel the pain & negative emotions of rejection. Please don’t allow these feelings to turn me away from Your protections. Whatever is removed or unavailable, remind me You’ll replace it tenfold. Hold my hand through rejection and when I gain my strength, help me to understand Your perfect will will never lead me astray.

Please stop having these REAL conversations while lying . 1st of all saying that the people in the church need less help than those outside when we all know that the church keeps up just enough mess as those who do not attend 2) please stop having these I left corporate convos as if these churches don’t also operate like a corporation and u can be fired and or alienated the same .3) as someone who has worked at the Menlo Park offices as a contractor who went thru the training as I was working on a project on the campus I know the culture of the company and being an executive in the role u we’re in …nvm 4) please stop wearing these weaves, blonde hair and red makeup if u are going to talk about how other people are walking in life. These story being told that it’s protective style.. how so when we like to say regardless of who u pray to that we were given everything we needed . Blonde hair wasn’t on the list nor a red lip let’s be forreal and I’m calling out myself. He wanted us to have the hair we have knowing the weather elements he created. I have always had long thick hair that I use to take for granted and I wear naturally now and plan to stop flat ironing but I used to wear wigs and weaves years ago and it was self-hate back then. Everybody needs to do better even me. Being a good story teller does not mean you are telling a good or truly godly story
