I'm confused.. #1, you are talking and clicking through things way too fast. #2, it seems like you are putting this material on every object you want to dissolve. How does this work with non primitives that have actual textures? Like the houses for example. You surely don't replace their materials with this material in order to dissolve it.

I like the end result of this product, unfortunately you click things and move around and talk WAY too fast to follow along or understand what is going on.

Are you sure your world aligned texture doesn't just align to the Z-axis? As far as I know, it doesn't work in post processing, as it would on a normal material.

This is one of the best explained and useful tutorials about materials I've ever watched. He stops to explain every node and everything he's using and it's really useful. P.D. The use of the PreviousFrameSwitch for the unreal anti-aliasing system is really useful too. Thank you very much.

Thank you for this awesome tutorial. But i have one problem: I only use the material without the particles.. So now, when the material dissolves, it will lit up the environment >extremly< bright at the end. How can i prevent this? it doesnt look like it in your video

How do you make it update on its own in the effect applied with depth used and animated in the sequence? because it bugs a lot if I don't update it by manually moving it in the viewport and then it works in the render queuer

Hi! I really like your tutorials but I have one suggestion: There are propably lots of devs around who really know how to code but shaders (materials in UE) and effects might be a bit unknown area. You could slow down a bit and explain more why we are doing all the things inside material and what happens if we dont. I.e. we are taking a lerp value from a mask with range 0.2 - 0.8 and multiplying that with some color. Why this is done? What happens if we change the range. Otherwise keep up the good work!
