Stop imbuing so much pseudo- psychological post modernist babble on this artists biography. You can take any photographers work and claim homo erotica undertones! His early relations with roommates like John Cheever are hinted but never confirmed as intimate physically. Emotionally possible. He had hetero marriages later that were largely ruined by ego and alcohol. We do not know enough about his intimate life to make claims. It doesn't really add anything to his legacy to posthumously speculate. Stop the revisionist stuff. Some are trying to cancel him for his writings about "Negroes". Was he racist as well?

This game is my White Whale! _Had a Xbox, had a mate with JSRF, have JSR HD on the PS3 to this day and play it to death. _*_But never played JSRF! I will pull an Oddsyus if I have to if it means I get the opportunity one day!_*

Xbox was my first console and jet set radio future was my first video game. It holds a special place in my heart my childhood right here. This also me into drawing graffiti. Woke up one Christmas mourning 2002 unboxing the Xbox and booting up this game. Pure nostalgia. 🥺

I started watching this, saw that it was an hour and a half long, saved it for later, later's now. I know absolutely nothing about Jet Set Radio. I had to google for the name "Funky Uncle" because of the pinned comment. I probably won't edit my message, but just know, I look forward to this 1:06:18 Lamp?? A band I've listened to really often when trying to sleep? I know, I know I'm not all knowing, I know there are connections I haven't made yet, but it always surprises me just as much I learned about Jet Set Radio from 2 Mello, after having Ba-Da-Ba on my playlist for several months, if not a year or so. Great song, I wish I could meet 2 mello

this is so beautifully done, my heart is so full as this game is so important to myself and so many others, it feels like the best kept secret. The soundtrack is still part of my rotation to this day. The music and referential aesthetic is truly what makes this game so wonderful. I have endless nostalgia of me playing this with my dad for hours, he passed 2 years ago and some of my best memories are us sitting around the tv listening to this music and taking in the uniquely beautiful visuals of this game. I could go on, but i’m so glad this game is getting its flowers in a reboot! Thank you so much for this <3

I never really realized that like... the placement of the tracks in the parts of the story is masterful. First, title screen you get hit with "the concept of love". That whole track is basically an overview of the vibes of the game! And then you start and you get the chill remix of "humming the bassline". When you first head out into the world, You get thrown straight into "Funky dealer", which still remains just... one of the best tracks ever. When I first played the game I started associating different tracks with different characters, mostly because when I was first playing through Shibuya Terminal and I met Combo the first track that played was "what about the future", and I could just imagine that track blasting through his huge boombox. Once you get to the big industrial Fortified Residential Zone you get the grittier harder tracks. And the sewers get their very own, unique medley that will always have a special place in my heart (mainly because I was stuck there for a week...) All of that attention to detail makes this game all good vibes and nothing else. Even inspired me to take up aggressive in-line skating! Also thank you Richard Jaques for making some of my ABSOLUTE favorite tracks from both games, Everybody Jump Around and Bokfresh
