And im back to my Zing 2 irons... Lost my swing with newer irons... Put the trusty Zing 2's back in the bag and got it back just like that 😂 high and straight with so much control ❤

An inch of graphite only weights a few grams. Why add back so Much weight?

I went to watch Westwood play a pre British Open practice round on The Royal Liverpool Golf Course years ago (around 1999) and he had the copper version of these irons in his bag.

Great idea. Any solutions as to what someone could do for overhead net install to avoid scoops/hit wedges? While not disturbing the garage door from opening and closing of course

Be careful with heating ferrules with a torch or heat gun. You can stiffen the feels to much and cause it to distort when installing it.

Here is a thought to for older golfers who may live their clubs but cannot get much out of them like they used to. Re-shaft to senior shafts. I got into club making way back in the 80s. Now I just do things with and for my clubs, what I want to experiment with. Sometimes I will help someone if they really need it. Most golfers have too stiff of a flex to the shafts. Seriously, if your swing speed has not been checked in a while, it is worth popping into a mega golf store and having quick analysis. If you are in the 80s, a senior flex can really help you get height and distance. I used R flex when my swing was in the 90s. Sure, lots of folks said you need a stiff. No I did not. I tried both and the R gave me the best distance. Same for the senior flex now. I also use a 3W, 5W, 7W and 9W. My irons start at 7. Swing easy, hit farther and more consistently. It works. Happy golfing trails all.

What happens to the lie? I am a lefty, looking to flatten the lie as well as reduce loft. Most adjustments I have seen (for Callaway anyway) always make the clubs more upright. Any clarrity on this?

Hi can you add an after market counter balance weight to the butt end to help lower the swing weight and make the head feel lighter?
@gavinkh6658
@gavinkh6658 5 ай бұрын
I also dont get it? Adding weight to the butt will move the balance point closer to your hands but you are adding more mass that has to be accelerated in the total system. Counter balance does not "counter" mass... just the balance point?

Have you hit any worm burners? How did the netting react? Thinking of doing something like this and worried that a low mis-hit is going to go underneath the netting and hit whatever is behind.

Adding lead tape changes the feel depending where lead tape is placed. Better to drill a hole in the hosel and stuff , poly stuffing (cushion filling). The poly stuffing spreads out evenly within the club head cavity. ie doesnt significantly change the COG of the clubhead as lead tape or 'melt' does

Says he has a super easy way to measure epoxy and then says take your scale. That's not easy if you don't have one. Thought he had a simple way to eyeballing it.

Awesome video- just a couple clarifying questions for us newbies: 1) Is this the same process if using on a .355 shaft which the ferrule was designed for? 2) Obviously, wouldn’t need to bore the ferrule out, but would you still heat in boiling water? 3)What’s the best way to remove the old ferrules? 4) Do you epoxy the ferrules in place against the club head, or just the club head (as usual)? 5) What did you mean at the end of the video by “once it dries all I have to do is turn that ferrule down”? Thank you for your clarification!

I agree with your assessment on the True Temper Elevate VSS shafts. The Elevate 95 is also good for moderate to slow swingers that prefer steel to graphite. A very smooth shaft.
