I read and re-read Carlos Castaneda´s books several times. Wanted to find out when his "luck" seemed to end, when he went astray, so to say. Until I found the videoThe Death of la Gorda" where Florinda said to Carlos and his witches that "her Group" Including Don Juan and the old warrior group who prepared Carlos and his group- they will definitely "drop" the whole bunch. I write this because this video is made very well - I never saw the flying ones, but I hear them in the right or left ear as a nerving kind of chirping. Always when I am through working in meditation and are full of energy or in a loving state of mind- or er mind is clouded in anger ! I learned to scream to them- as Don Juan said their biggest fright is to be acknowledged. Thinking of Buddhism - they call them the hugry ghosts- and the treatment is the same - try to reach the State of inner Silence ! Thank you !

In the early 1970s I was a university student in Canada. I had studied eastern philosophy for some years and had become involved with psychedelics. I would not discover the Don Juan books for some two or three years. Casteneda's books would eventually explain a number of baffling experiences I had during this period. Firstly having discovered the Christian mystics; Theresa of Avalon, Meister Elkhart, St John of the Cross etc. through Aldous Huxley's Perennial Philosophy I had developed my own meditation to subdue my ego. One afternoon while walking alone on campus I was pursuing the censorship of my thoughts. Suddenly a disembodied voice loudly and clearly said "If you continue to pursue your practise you will die". I immediately heeded the warning and ended my practise. I intuitively treated this voice as having simply conveyed information. I sensed no personality, God or angel. When years later I read the Don Juan saga I learned that this is the Voice of Seeing and yes there was no one home. In another section of the books Don Juan explains that mystics in aggressively assaulting their selves are actually attacking the egg of energy enveloping us and protecting us from death. The mystic unwittingly rips open his or her cocoon of energy and perishes. Another uncanny incident occurred when home from school for a long weekend. I awoke on Sunday morning with the feeling of a heavy sphere in my head. It gradually descended through my body all day long and disappeared though my feet in the evening. Years later I read Carlos Casteneda's account of his losing the human form. It was exactly as I had experienced it. After finally discovering the Don Juan stories, so perhaps under their influence, I had other experiences as described by Carlos. I moved my assemblage point in an encounter with a telepathic young woman attacking me emotionally (magically). The most disturbing was a year and half of revelations, mind altering and often terrifying. I was forced to review many incidents from my life infusing them with new meaning and destroying my belief in my mundane life. I have only recently realized this was the Recapitulation of one's life practised as a discipline amongst warriors, but forcefully imposed upon me, having no teacher I suppose. As I am not a joiner I never sought out Carlos or his organization. But I cannot deny the power of these works. I am definitely not a nagual. Strange things happen to me but I cannot accomplish anything through my will. So now to discuss the fraud charges levied against Carlos which appear to be well authenticated. The later books of Castaneda have much to do with Stalking. Stalking is the creation of a false crisis designed to move a student's assemblage point and push them into magical realms. I believe the whole Castaneda phenomena was an exercise in Stalking. The World was Stalked. To what end. Sorry no idea.

Curiously, Gurdjieff did not support Hipnotism, he even made that to make elephants sleep, he spoke it was a total misery and loss of time ; he condemned the telepathy, Theosophy and spiritualism, underlining the totally mental aspects of those Siddhas. What happens around you shouldn't bother you overly because as this reality is as a dream and an illusion these things have accumulated into the consciousness' mind-matrix, sufferings manifesting because of karmically polluted consciousness because from times forgotten each rebirth on has taken pleasure in war or has been aversive thus still grasping at war, a personality, a nation, a cause for fighting, an enemy. So therefore these are the seeds growing out, be it war, famine, monsters, aliens, bad dreams, strife, diseases, wild beasts. All these manifest into one's individual reality within the multiverse. Unless mindfully endured and abandoned as something real to be engaged with, they'll be reseeded again. Rather I can advise you, don't watch news, do what is right for yourselves, calm people down, do not teach them war, do not put labels as "enemy", awaken yourself first and everyone will benefit from it. Work and take pleasure of what live you can buy with honest work, and even if there's no good life after this honest work imbued with moral qualities (say a cleaner, doctor, gardener, food production, builder, teacher, etc.) - if you still lack a decent life then regard it as something you should endure patiently while looking for a better means to support oneself. It seems to me also a better thing not to have children and be surrounded by much people who would drag you down into worries and this life's nightmares

I consider earth bound spirits as energy parasites. The approach in this video doesn't work for me. It's interesting that I attempted to do this initially before learning a technique to actually remove them permanently. I do feel them attaching & I feel the removal of my energy. When I indicate that I see them, it usually results in a tighter grip around me, sort of like I'm giving them a piggy back ride. I feel the pressure across my neck and the heaviness on my back. I get short of breath. I feel like I'm carrying them. If I delay in removing it, I feel achy & sore as if I've been carrying a heavy load. I really have to work on protection work!

Its function is to help your body to recover its energy lost in the day-to-day work, so tomorrow morning you can get up fresh, again able to work. The ordinary sleep only goes so deep that it can help your body to recover, rejuvenate. Deliberate sleep is the meaning of hypnosis. It is a simple thing, but it goes as deep as you are ready to go. It refreshes your body, it silences your mind, it cleanses your heart, it can reach to your very being. It all depends on your willingness - nobody can hypnotize you against your will. That also is a greatly fallacious idea prevalent in the world, that somebody can hypnotize you against your will. That is impossible. Nobody can hypnotize you against your will. Simple methods are used by the hypnotist. He will tell you to relax and concentrate on something shiny, without moving your eyelids; just keep your eyes open as long as you can, and only when it is almost impossible for you, when the eyelids close by themselves - you cannot do anything, you cannot stop - only then… You are relaxed, lying down in a silent place, looking at a very strong light which tires the eyes, staring at it. The hypnotist is repeating, “Your eyelids are becoming very heavy, the light is too strong and you are going to fall asleep soon.” And he will go on repeating it… If you follow, cooperate with the hypnotist, he can take you deeper, deeper, deeper… the mind has become silent. And the moment he says anything, it simply sinks into your being. Your heart is dancing with harmony - no tension, no thought. You have entered into the innermost shrine of your being; now relax there. But this is possible only, and I am saying categorically only, if you are willing to go into it. But it is tremendously helpful, because you find it very difficult on your own to go into that deep silence where the world is left far behind. And if the hypnosis is going to be used for meditative purposes… It can be used for many kinds of purposes, it can be used for healing… It can be used as an educative methodology. You can learn in hypnosis better than you can learn ordinarily, because everything is silent and you are hearing only one voice. Even if somebody else comes and talks, you will not hear, you are open only to a small narrow way to the hypnotist. He can teach you any new language. He can teach you any new science. He can teach you arithmetic, anything within minutes for which people take hours and days to learn. And it can be used for meditation too. As far as I am concerned hypnosis is simply a relaxed, deliberate sleep with a small opening, a little window, to the person who hypnotized you. He can tell you that your meditation will go deeper every day, and if this thought gets in your unconscious, your meditation will start going deeper. Just a few sessions and he can give you the last post-hypnotic suggestion: now you don’t need any hypnosis; your meditation will go deeper on its own accord. Hypnosis has not been used in the whole of history for meditation, but it can be used, and it can be used with tremendous power, because you have to fight so much with your thoughts unnecessarily. That whole struggle with your mind can be dropped by hypnotic sessions without much effort… Your willingness is absolutely needed. It is you who creates the hypnosis, not the person who hypnotizes you. But it is good in the beginning if you can help each other. There is nothing much to it; anybody you trust can help you and take you deep into hypnosis. And when you are in deep hypnosis he can check whether you are in deep hypnosis or not. He can push a needle in your hand; you will not feel it. He can take your hand up and leave it, and it will fall because you are not awake and you cannot keep it that way. So there are just a few small things he can try to find out if you are really in hypnosis. Then he can tell you about meditation: whenever you sit to meditate, take a bath, make a special room for your meditation. Don’t do anything in that room so that it remains vibrating with your meditativeness. Burn incense, bring roses and flowers, sit silently. Close your eyes, watch your thoughts and you will immediately go into deep silence; thoughts will disappear. This can happen without hypnosis but it takes a longer time. Hypnosis is a short cut."
