I sure you need to work with one wheel to just sell a new bumper with you wheels & kickstand built in.

3dGloop is not amazing stuff, it is just re-branded pvc solvent welding "cement". Welcome to the year 1954, when it was formulated. 😂😂😂

Considering you had to design the thing yourself, I don't really see how they could like get mad. You didn't steal their files, you look at a shape, and made your own chair? With that being said, all you need to do, is claim 'Fair Use' Fair use: If you are using the design for educational purposes, criticism, or commentary, you may be able to claim fair use. Minimal originality: If your 3D design is significantly different from the existing product, including substantial modifications or creative interpretations, it might not be considered infringement. Considering your 3D design is MULTIPLE pieces put together to LOOK LIKE a fortune cookie that's been twisted. Technically speaking it's not the same design as the original chair. The original plastic chair appears to be one piece, your design is completely original being multiple smaller pieces. Meaning that the actual design of your chair and their chair are completely different. It's how companies which sell furniture aren't in a battle of who's shelf is better. They're a shelf, they look exactly the same, but the parts to put them together are fundamentally different. IF they did pursue legal action, you have a decent chance at winning. You had to design the chair yourself, took substantial effort in modification, and creative interpretations to get the shape correct. The only similar thing about the product is the end shape, which you cannot legally own a commonly used shape. Considering the fortune cookie shape this chair takes inspiration from, they can't own that shape legally.

Hey Morley, Awesome video! I'm a taller guy, what if on the opposite end you made a collapsible suitcase handle ordeal that would make the wheeling around more ergonomic and versatile? Like you mount it into the threaded inserts, to extend out parallel to the foot pads. Here you get the foot stops of the FST system, but you can pull out the handle when you are at the store.

Suggestions: 1. Create a free discord community that shares 3D models 2. Have game nights and have events that can teach people how to make their own 3D models

It's funny how makers get pissed off when someone steals their designs but happily steal others with the no-brain activity called 3d printing.

Now, model and reinforce the screw hole, print them in black and they look professional.

7:15 I think in this type of project is amazing that person could be printing a piece while gluing another parts together. (to some point) And if you would add avg hourly wage, that price would go a little bit higher (counting even the time spent learning that 3D print soft)

If SLA or SLS printers become more mainstream then I think manufacturers should be a little worried. It would essentially eliminate all the steps after assembly.

How cute when you tried to minimize the amount of microplastics you threw in the air while sanding it. Like it was any significant amount compared to the shit ive seen in the industry while producing way less cool and useful products 😅😅
