How do you zoom and manual focus when operating the steadycam with those Grassvaelly broadcast cameras? Do you have an assistant?

Hi, I've been following you for a short time but I've already fallen in love with your hobby, I have a question, which camera with a budget under $700 could I start making videos with?

great job on the story telling and camera work 🔥🔥🔥. I definitely have to get a steadicam now. They way you're able to tell the story with the camera movement is crazy.

Have you watched The haunting of Hill House? There's one episode that's almost one complete shot. 12 angry Men & American son are two movies that are very close to being one shot movies.

My camera only works with one gimbal, otherwise i would buy one for live production.

It's too bad what you're shooting doesn't feed the audience any new information. Bushes up close tells us what? It's not about the Steadicam, it's about what the audience is seeing with the Steadicam. Whoops.

Hey Red What are the pros and cons of a steadycam compared to an easy rig? Could you make a video on that? It feels to me that easy rigs are way easier to setup , its more of a handheld look i think but iv seen a lot of heavy duty gimbals on easy rigs to make it smoother. Could you give me a little input on this?

i follow all your step! But EVERYTIME i turn on the gimbal, the horizon drift! I pressed (short) the trim button of the roll, and i also pressed it long for 5 econds, nothing change, any suggestions?

2:37 "I can't tell if these were extras or if this was a working bar"? Really dude? A multi-million dollar movie? These were extras and even if some of them were workers, this scene was rehearsed to an inch of its life. 7:05 Looks like an obvious crossfade between two seperate shots

1:15 that guy did well to stay on his feet. My guess is the cheerleader was hurt in that one. 3:31 I'd be suing the fuck out of that moronic soccer player and his club. Proves that soccer players are brain-dead. 4:35 "pop the battery back on"? Not a chance. That rig got severely damaged! 7:08 the shot though the dancers wasn't even good without the crash. The horizon was all over the place and the angle was ugly. 8:55 It was obvious it was his own shoe he tripped over. No-one to blame but himself.

How did the rig get massively unbalanced if the guy didnt change anything on the rig when you gave it to him? No disrespect i just want to know where or how it happened because i have no idea. Great work . Looks like a lot of preassure.

I remember trying one out in film school back in 2018. I was very weak and only 38-40kg at the time (recovering from not eating while depressed, am already petite and didn't exercise back then) and I didn't have much trouble with it as it was distributed around my body and I wasn't actually carrying it all in my arms or solely my back.
