Hi James I have only just seen this video and learned the full extent of what you both went through. It is humbling to see the way you coped and kept strong for eachother. As you say , you feel for other parents that are locked into a never ending cycle of hospital visits, sleepless nights and pain. That feeling that you just want to lift all their troubles onto your own strong shoulders is what it is to be a parent, and, as I have found, to be a grandparent. I am sure your Mums and Dads were also at their wits ends with it all.

Thank you for that. I am so sorry for your loss. I had to say goodbye to my beautiful Mal this week. I am absolutely heartbroken. He too, like George, out-survived his prognosis by over 2 years. I am utterly lost without him. I understand how quiet your house must be now - I lived here with Mal for the last 12 years and I now understand that he is what made my place home. Its soooo hard to be here without him 💔 I will never ever ever ever forget him. I love you Mal 💔💕

Can I assure you as a PPL examiner and FIC instructor that this is completely ridiculous and unessecarry and the last thing you want to be doing in the air. If you cannot eyeball a diversion, take up golf! It’s also a SKILL TEST not a skills test. Read the the Honourable Company of Air Pilots instructor section on Navigation and find out how to navigate properly.

Great video, James. Currently learning with Brian at Classic Wings Duxford and enjoying every second. Trying to train my ear for the correct radio chat is a little struggle at the moment. Especially as a historic aviation enthusiast and sometimes only hear Spitfire, Blenhiem, Sea fury etc then immediately distracted looking out for it . Interesting how you talk about the emotional aspect of it and inspirational on how someone who looks confident about things goes through the same thoughts and doubts. Fly safe my friend.

I lost my George too, at least in his physical form, because I could never lose him completely. It hurts so much, even now, 4 months later. I have been crying, crying, crying- never cried so much in my life. My George was 16 aswell and a tabby. Thank you for sharing this, at least we are not alone in our pain. I will love you forever, Georgie ❤️ they are absolute treasures in our lives.

My Lil Pooh passed in my arms last night. August 26 2024. Just past midnite about 20 minutes. Tiny fluffy sweetheart. My heart is broken. I feel empty as she is my family, my soul mate.😢🙇🏻‍♀️💔😟😥🇨🇦my little girl. She was all I cared about and now she is in heaven. She was small cute and preciously gentle. Passing in my arms is a blessing but painful. I am lost.😢 I feel selfish but my heart is sad dor your loss sir. But my selfisness I pray you forgive me. I lost my cat two weeks ago😢 she was 11 years old & got attacked by some predator coyote/ raccoon or owl possibly & it is devastating to lose your cat this way ! PLEASE keep your cats safe indoors.

My Myrna was killed a year and a half ago . A tuxedo with the kindest soul I've ever known . The day before, we had sat out on the porch-she in my lap, gently biting my nose . she also liked her chin scratched by my beard . She was only 3 1/2 yrs old and we'd finally gotten her fixed . Damn, I miss her .

i lost my baby girl eddie yesterday she was with me for 13 years she was my angel and the love of my life,she had breast cancer and a tumoe removed 13 months ago but almost ovenight became very sick,i knew it was time and so did she,she fell alseep with my head on her telling her she was and is the love of my life,thankyou for eveything eddie when i join you we will do it all again,sweet dreams nennie ,baby eddie girl,i love you
