I cant believe those poor people fainted and hurt themselves. If you feel weird during such a movie in the cinema, please dont jump up and try to run out. close your eyes, cover your ears and try to lower yourself in the seat. If you have enough space around you, elevate your legs. if you happen to be there with friends, let them get you a cold wet tissue for your head and a bottle of water. When you feel a bit better, you can slowly and carefully walk out with their help. If youre alone, ask someone else for help

@@zachiswayposi1I completely disagree but it has more to do with the overall tone than the scenes themselves. I love the second movie. As someone who is prone to fainting, I think it's important to point out that fainting in theaters is often a result of the environment and not just what's playing on the screen. People prone to fainting are often affected by air pressure, electrical sounds and flickering lights, smells, and the panic of realizing they can't easily and safety get out of the situation once the spins come on. I've fainted just waiting in line at the grocery store because of things like that!

@johnbarrie44720 күн бұрын
I AM a gorehound, but I have anxiety issues about being trapped in theaters, concerts, sports stadiums, and so I always get a seat on the very outside edge near an exit if possible. (In theaters, that tends to look like C1, D1, or E1.) Probably people who want to see this movie but worry about intensity should do the same. I don't usually need to leave, but knowing I'm so close to an escape takes the edge off for me. When Elizabeth first takes the injection in The Substance, there are some flashing lights with intense music that I had to look away from.

I wholeheartedly agree with you about Terrifier 2. Not in the same league as the first film. For me, Terrifier 2 has some real nasty over the top scenes, too much torture porn for me. I don't like Hostel at all and some of the gore in Terrifier 2 struck me in the same way. The thing about Art The Clown in Terrifier (and in All Hallows Eve) is that he is truly terrifying (to put that into context, I'm greatly disturbed by clowns in the first place; they are a frightening species). Something to do with his face paint, his mannerisms, he don't talk, he is evil personified. Art The Clown makes the established horror icons (Freddie Krueger, Michael Myers etc) look like kiddies playing in the sandpit. After this review, you've have confirmed that I'll have to go see the new one in the cinema. I just needed to know that it's better than the last one.

9:35 freaked me out 🙃 Gosh, I hate the people who stand around like lemons when somebody needs help. In my entire life, I’ve been in several of the situations, some where I’m the one who needs help, and never, not once, has a bystander helped. Literally, even when I’m the injured party, I’m still the one who has to help myself whilst bystanders… just stand there. These bystanders aren’t even necessarily strangers, sometimes they are the friend or romantic partner of the person who needs help… but, just stand there. Or, on one occasion, woke me up to phone an ambulance instead of just phoning an ambulance themselves and then just stood there in a trance state whilst I actually did stuff to help. It’s incredibly frustrating. I don’t even feel like I help out of the goodness of my heart, but due to being the only functional person there in these situations. Like, I look around first and everyone else is in some sort of trance state 😵💫 Sure, that makes me good to have around in some sort of crisis situation, but why has there NEVER been anyone else equally good to have around in my whole life?? What is wrong with these people?! Better that too many people want to help than not enough 😒

Terrifier 3 is brilliant! It totally ups the gore level ten times more than part 2, the opening, shower, and aunt scene (throwback to the main scene of the old 80s movie Epitaph) really are full on, and two people walked out after the opening scene in Melbourne stating it was disgusting so I completely believe every walk out, pass out, and vomit story. I loved it, and found it hilarious at points, but it is over the top gore, I have seen far more realistically violent and gory horrors. The story was a little better in part 2 I thought, but having said that, I still loved it and will definitely go to see it again.

I also enjoyed this one a lot, its definitely the best of the series so far. The first Terrifier was good but Terrifier 2 was not enjoyable for me. The bedroom scene in Terrifier 2 almost made me turn it off. I went to see this on a Sunday at 130 p.m.; the theater was packed, and i live in a small town and i usually get the theater just about to myself if i go at that time. It was one of the best cinema experiences I've ever had. Everyone was respectful and actually watching the movie, no one was on their phone, and nobody was having side conversations. I only had one lady walk out towards the end in my showing. Damien Leone is singlehandedly saving slashers/horror, in my opinion. Art the Clown is the best thing to happen to horror since Freddy Kruger. I can't wait for Terrifier 4!

By now, we get that Damien Leone can do gore effects. Hopefully, he’s improved as an editor. Part 2 was okay, but good god, did that thing drag. Even the bedroom kill that everybody made such a big deal out of just kept going to a point I thought I was watching the makeup effects test reel. A big shock moment loses effectiveness when you’re checking your watch.

A long time ago, I found your channel through relevant searching. Then it got turned under the algorithmic soil, and a random prompt brought it back up, and I remember how strangely endearing it is. You just seem SO DIFFERENT from a typical horror vixen, lol. It's really cool actually to be reminded how much this stuff, the comical and darker aesthetics and subject matter, bind us all as normies. Glad to see you still making content...We had a sort of famine in genre works, although with gems like Ari Aster's work, and it feels like it's Halloween again for real now. Cool, always cool.

A thought occurred to me the other day about the inclusion of children in this film. As someone who lives in the U.S., I would bet that the people who have the biggest issue with that are the same people who have become desensitized to school shootings/mass shootings in the media. It would be interesting to know what sort of gun legislation might take place if people were forced to walk into a classroom after a school shooting. Also, I'm so glad you were there to assist those people in your theater! That had to be scary to see.

You really are the very best at what you do, without peer. I just watched this most recent ‘come with me’, segment, proving once again-your perspective…with honest flair. Stay Emma, forever. A lot of us rely on your personality w/expertise. Stay Spooky, obviously🎃 PS: I haven’t watched said film, yet. TY, nonetheless 👻

This was the first Terrifier movie I have seen and I honestly was expecting/hoping for it to be more over-the-top. With how much hype it had, it felt *relatively* tame, and knowing that it's supposed to be the craziest of the films makes me not that interested in watching the first two. I probably still will though. I was expecting some unique deaths, but we got 3 or so basic axe hacking deaths, 2 basic gun deaths (One of which is off screen. Really? What a waste of a cameo. Will win Dead Meat's dull machete no contest). There were a few good gnarly moments/kills but I was wanting a crescendoing gnarlfest.

what did you think of the holy catholic, good vs evil power fantasy imagery?? that's the most interesting part of both this film and part 2 to me, feels like damien leone has a crystal clear aesthetic vision. a lot of reviews seem to be skimming over that stuff though so I'm kind of worried he's backtracked and toned it down for 3 lmao.

I do still miss the simplicity, charm & grit of Terrifier. That remains my favourite film in the franchise, but that said, this third installment far exceeds the second and manages to find a happy medium between both Terrifier 1 & 2 which is what I was hoping for. Loved it.

I already have my ticket booked for this Tuesday, and I'm treating myself to a drive-in session. I'm very much looking forward to it. Thank you for this review!

Obviously I'll be fine - but for non or lite horror fans, they missed a trick on Terrifier 3's marketing campaign to get a t-shirt to say "I survived the Terrifier 3 experience" lol :)

No fainting or puking in my theater that I'm aware of, but some guy yelled "OH GOD NO" when he realized what was in the aunt's Christmas present.

I watched it at Monster Fest. No walkouts, plenty of laughter. There were quite a few walkouts from the mainstream audience. I'm quite desensitised to horror gore so I didn't feel any of it, but I am someone who needs to lie down for a blood test. The only movie I can recall making me feel queasy was Dagon when I was a child.

I can’t wait for Terrifier 3. Art has established himself as the modern horror icon. I met Damien Leone, Phil Falcone and Elliot Fulham this week in London. Great guys, who love what they do and who give the fans what they want.

I don't watch a lot of disturbing movies, but I did see The Cook the Thief His Wife and Her Lover in the theater way back when it first came out (yes I'm that old) and they all walked out at the infamous belly button scene. One person ran out sobbing. I'm still glad they cut away so you didn't have to watch it happen. The people who walked out, though, were spared more and worse. Lol.

I love that the Terrifier movies have snuck into the outer edges of the mainstream...I've recommended them to a few folk who are used to Freddie/Jason/Evil Dead levels of gore...they struggled with the more extreme stuff but agreed that Art is tops.

This type of Horror isn't for people only used to Scream or Blumhouse PG movies. I'm 44 and my first almost puke film I watched before I was a teen or just 13 was Jacobs Ladder. Just been a graphical horror fan since my 20's and used to it, and just appreciate how realistic it looks. So many in the horror genre don't even have a story and the victims are all unrealisticly dumb, but the Terrifier franchise got some depth to it, and even thou I'm not a go to gore person in my favorites of movies (more of a mystery with a twist kinda movie lover) Terrifier somehow got me :)

I'm happy to hear it's got better editing that the second one. Terrifier 2 felt like every scene drug on longer than it need to. I can't believe people actually fainted, I've never seen it happen in my life.

I'm subscribed to Bloody Disgusting, and somehow, it took me to you! So glad it did. I've subscribed. I get it. I love different kill methods in films. I liked the movie Thanksgiving for that. There were a few good ones in that imo. My friends and I always liked to watch Silent Night Deadly Night, and the original Black Christmas for the holiday season lol.

I’m pretty desensitized as well but SPOILER BELOW * * * When Cole gets his Knee/calf cut and he tries to run out of the shower stall and it just gives out under his weight I wince, I’ve seen it 3 times now and I winced every single time
