Doest it have a holder for tripod at the bottom? Because if we keep the tripod in that side pocket, the balancing will be a big issue while walking long distances.

Thank you for all of your videos, I really like your style. You can purchase wood cuticle pushers usually called orange sticks, but I find that wooden coffee stirrers work just as well for me and they are readily available at lots of coffee houses. A bonus is wood doesn't cause horizontal ridges in your nails. Metal pushers can damage the nail bed and cause ridges. I know what you mean about nail files making your teeth itch - same! I use glass or crystal ones. I also use something called a Ruby Stone. I have been using them for years. A bonus using Ruby Stone is you can use it on the edges of your cuticles to remove or prevent hang nails.

Thanks for the tips. 🤗 I used wooden ones for a while, but my cuticles are very tough and the wood stopped working after one or two uses. But I love the idea of the coffee stirrers - I'm going to get one and try that out. That could definitely be a great option for on the go.

Hi, thank you for your helpful video! With the information from your video, Lufthansa is offering me compensation of €300 per passenger. However, I have one question regarding my situation: My Lufthansa flight from Delhi to Barcelona via Munich was impacted by a delay. The Delhi-to-Munich flight was delayed by 3 hours and 15 minutes, causing me to miss my connecting flight. Lufthansa rebooked me on a different flight, and I ultimately reached my final destination (Barcelona) more than 4 hours later than my originally scheduled arrival time. I informed Lufthansa that I reached my destination over 4 hours late and, based on EU regulations, I believe I am eligible for €600 per passenger compensation. However, they responded, stating that since the first flight was delayed by only 3 hours and 15 minutes, they can only offer €300 per passenger. Should I accept this offer, or should I provide more evidence to support my claim and push for the full compensation? Are they lowballing me with this offer? Thank you!
@MaggiFuchs6 күн бұрын
As far as I know, the time and the final destination is the one that counts. And 300€ seems to be an odd number… did you already hand in the form? It might be worth a try.
@sagar55855 күн бұрын
@ I submitted my request through the Lufthansa app by filling out their delay form in the app. However, I haven’t specifically used the form you shared in description or sent it to them via email. I’m unsure about what to do next. Should I accept their offer or send them a screenshot of the EU261 form to assert my rights? Additionally, their response has been extremely slow-I’m receiving just one response every five weeks. Your guidance on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.
@MaggiFuchs5 күн бұрын
I would send the form and refer to your passenger rights. For me, they took months until they accepted my claim. Without the form, they didn’t care at all.
@sagar55855 күн бұрын
Thank you for the guidance. I will now send this form to Lufthansa, along with all supporting evidence showing that I reached my destination exactly 4 hours late (including a screenshot of past flight details from the Lufthansa app). I’ll also include a screenshot of Article 7 of EC261, which clearly states that I am eligible for full compensation. Thank you for your help.

I've owned it since they sent them out from their kickstarter. 4 or 5 years by now? I lived out of it for 9 months during covid being "stuck" in Thailand during 2020. No complaints about it. Its held up with issues with zippers, not even many scratches. The little leather logo got wet a few times but its still fine. I had like 7 pairs of short and 7 button up shirts, 1 pair of long pants, 1 pair of shoes, 1 pair of flip flops, 7 pairs of boxer briefs and 7 under shirts (Thailand is hot) when I was traveling around I would wear the pants and shoes and have the flip flops packed. I use the large packing cube and small packing cube. I think my biggest complaint is the adjustable straps getting unraveled. But not a big issue at all.

Thanks for another great video! I love that you talk about such practical travels things. Everyone needs to trim their nails if a trip is longer than a couple of weeks! I once took the cheapest mini nail trimmer i could find and it was a terrible mistake haha. I use a quality mini nail trimmer and a regular disposable nail file. I am very interested in your scissors though! Never thought to just use normal small scissors, such a good idea and would save me taking extra kids scissors that I normally take since you inevitably need scissors at some point.

I totally get your aversion to nail files. They normally make my skin crawl. I do love nail files made out of glass though. Only ever flown Aer Lingus and never had any issues with carryons. They are quite reasonable with personal items etc.. I feel there must have been more to this than generalising about their regulations. Also Aer Lingus is not a budget airline like Ryan Air or Easy Jet.
@MaggiFuchs6 күн бұрын
I don’t feel I’m generalizing, these are the rules on regional flights and the ones that applied to my ticket. I would not even mind paying extra to bring my bag on board, but on the flight home, that was not even an option so customers are forced to check their carry-on items. So basically they took a service that used to be free away - especially considering they are not really a budget airline.

As for hair, I haven't found a good solution either. I always dyed my hair dark and it was very difficult to make it look decent while traveling. That‘s why I decided not to dye my hair anymore, but to keep my natural hair color. Although I miss the dark hair every day when I look in the mirror, it's just soooo much easier.

Ooohkay!!❤️ this! Time for true confessions: so a few years back, my husband & I travelled with small backpacks to Alaska. Toploading & then I saw your Arcane duffel and we switched… a bag we can open is a must! The duffels work well for when we have to bring big warm boots. BUT… we have switched to the Kånken Nr 2 bags (after trying Osprey 26+6) and we pack a PC bag, empty, in the PC section for anything we buy. Because usually we are allowed a carry on & a personal bag for trips to Alaska. So 1 bag outbound & 2 home. But for other trips too - the Kånken Nr 2 is underseat size and has become our favorite. And we travel for two weeks… 😂😂 I surprise myself. I too love a lighter backpack & so this just works & we wear our jackets & warmer layers on the plane because we travel in winter. It is tight tho. So depending on the plans - we switch between the Arcane duffels & the Kånkens. Can also use the Kånken as a personal item with the duffel - but then it all gets heavier 🤷🏼♀️. But yeah… I fell in love with the light bag and that was it 😂😂!! That said - we don’t work when away - so camera gear etc is not a thing for us and we share some toiletries & my husband carries the sink washing things as I have asthma meds to carry. Anyway… I LOVED this, Maggi!! Awesome. My husband takes very little - so if I need a pair of flats, he will carry them too. I have travelled alone with the 13 inch Kånken & carried sandals & the washing things… but then I needed a cross body for my toiletries so I like the slightly larger Kånken. Each trip I learn a little more. Awesome video!! (& we do like the Osprey 26+6 but they don’t work for the big boots & sometimes don’t actually fit under the seat depending on where one sits… so they are a regret. But super comfy on the back!) Sorry so long, but this was our journey toward the 18-20 range travel. So - awesome to see this!! You are so minimal sometimes!! I love the range tho one can have in carry on to underseat and how we can each make it work in our own way.

That's right, there are so many different ways to pack and no two trips are the same. How do you like the Kanken? I'm thinking of getting a used one (they were “in style" a few years ago and now everyone seems to be selling them, so maybe I can get a good deal). But I've heard that the straps are quite uncomfortable - what do you think?
@lynneeie522613 күн бұрын
Hi Maggi, I love mine - but I have noticed if I pack it “heavy” and carry it - as I did recently around town all day, then I have to carry it over both shoulders vs just off one. But other than that, I have no issues & I like the straps. I think the laptop versions are definitely the way to go as they have some padding. But it is thin & I can see how some may not like them. But they don’t bother me any more than any other bag 🤷🏼♀️… I am not sure that is helpful! I am 174 for comparison. And my Kånken has become my go-to for daily use & grocery shopping & travel… so I am very pleased with it! 🎄🥰 Happy Advent!

@@MaggiFuchsYou can get padded additions for the strap that work fine. The Kanken with a laptop compartment has them built in. The straps are comfortable as long you don‘t stuff the bag really full and heavy, which isn‘t the point anyway! I like the fully opening access and the shape that stands up, also the handles to grab quickly rather than the straps. I got the 15“ with padded laptop compartment in a cute design secondhand, an unwanted and unused gift, $25!! But I have used the 13“ simple one plenty for travel, I don‘t need much, just got the additional strap pads.

Hope you had a great time in Ireland 💚 why don’t you want to check in your luggage, it’s free with Aer Lingus. We always travel Aer Lingus and have never had an issue with cabin luggage. I guess I’m just being stubborn…. 😅 I like it best when I can travel with hand luggage only, because I don't have to bother with checking in luggage or waiting in line or at the baggage claim and can just walk in and out of the airport. 😂 But the others in my group checked their bags and it wasn't a problem. And you're right, especially in Dublin with the kiosks it was very easy to drop off luggage!
