Ford Fiesta Engine Strip Down

So here we have the strip down of the 1.4 Tdci engine from the 2010 Mk7 Ford fiesta to get us in a position to get it ready for headgasket, timing belt, rear main seal so the engine will be full refreshed ready for many years of happy motoring.
In the video you can see us removing the gearbox from the engine, putting the engine on the stand and then stripping the engine down in the garage to remove the cylinder head.

Can I ask what the problem was with the engine? I'm also swapping the engine on myv1.4 tdci fiesta as I sheered the glowplugs and the tips fell in the cylinders! It was cheaper than stripping and rebuilding mine. 🤔

Now then buddy, the engine was suffering coolant loss, oil leaks, and hard starting so was easier to work through the engine to give it the best chance at longevity
