Compared to Glowing womb (the charm that summons little flies of yourself), it won't take any soul from you. They're really good companions to fight alongside you! A small thing you missed: after visiting the stag nest and talking to him the Last Stag's name changes to "Old Stag". Also don't forget to go back and rescue zote at some point to continue his questline. There is still some fun to be had there.

I have two things that you might want to know: first, go to kings station and head to the empty stag station, since youre trying to get to the worlds edge on the right, try to EDGE the room and maybe youll find something. second, you have 5 endings in the game, you can go through all of them if you want to, getting all 5 endings in the same world, HOWEVER two of the endings require side quests which make the non sidequest endings locked out {you will most likely not get locked out} and either way, two of the endings require you to do a END END END game thing which is done after you have completed so much of the game that this is the only thing left to do. Also man, youre killing it, as a 100+ hours on main file, currently trying hardcore mode and have a pretty solid late game {not spoiling} finish, youre doing so well, all the side quests, all collectibles, really nicely done! the only thing youre missing is that stag station room and you'll be back on track :D Slight spoiler: You still have like 5 more map areas ahead of you.
