Things like at 8:50 just happen. The better you get at the game, the more likely it is that most of your deaths are caused by some random enemy bs. Those stupid deaths will never go away, they will haunt you forever. It's not just you, trust me xD

I love hollow knight and your editing style works perfectly with it, but I would also like to see what you do with tekken. I will say that the videos probably won’t perform as well metrics-wise because the HK community basically has 5-6 KZbinrs that actually consistently upload so you’ll have a larger viewer base continuing this game.

Very large hollow knight fan here, I currently cannot play the game because my sister owns it and we aren't sharing steam libraries right now, and it is genuinely so nostalgic to watch someone play through the game for the first time. I started playing the game in 2020, when I was only ten years old (it feels so long ago now) and watching these videos is holding me through my time when I am unable to play. It's nice to see someone enjoying the game so much for the first time Also, the Myla infection reaction is a universal thing

Yeah that area (in the end of the video) can be a bit tricky, but don't worry! You'll get something good from there (asides the grub) once you get through the annoying enemies. Just try killing them first so that they don't mess with you as you travel around c: (Also, without spoiling anything, now that you have Crystal Dash, try going to the area above Charm Lover Salubra's place. You'll find something good there ✨)

I love your HK gameplay, and that's a common first reaction to the crystalized mound tbf lol (go back when you get the double jump, it helps a lot, also don't forget to get the grub in there, it's to your right) just a tip, go back to the area where you found the mimic, there's an actual grub there behind a false wall to the right of where the mimic was

Pro tip, you can down slash the platforms to turn them back, you can parry a lot of emenies who carry weapons, you can slash moat projectiles to fling them in a different direction (even up), and the crystal clusters that form from the annoying flying things can be broken too :)

dude I don't blame you the crystallized mount is annoying as hell BUT!!! If you equip the shaman stone, the up spell will help you deal with the flying crystal shooting dudes. Also, you can attack the crystal platforms from above (attack down while above them) and that will force them to flip back so you can stand on them again.

It also does so during some platforming sections. Oh, yeah, you noticed, 12:45 is an example Also you missed things in howling cliffs!!!!! 1:31 that "ding...." is the sound indicating that you discovered a hidden area/secret.

Grubsong is S tier IMO, I almost always use it because I like being able to suck and get hit a lot Normally, in combat you need to get 3 hits to heal per 1 damage taken. With this charm it's more like 1.7. Plus in platforming where you can't get any soul from enemies, it's like having several extra heals available.

Lol crystallized mound is so real…. my strategy was to use charms that just net me as much soul as i could (my available charms were grubsong and soul catcher) and just spell the heck outta the enemies while tanking damage, healing in between fights. Btw i don’t know if you knew but you can nail the crystal platforms that are flipped over to make them safe again without having to wait for them to automatically reser

yay more hollow knight! now some info, those platforms with spikes, you can hit them to turn them back to step on them again. just pogo on it and you'll be good 👍press the super dash button again mid dash to cancel it so you can stop yourself instead of running into stuff. like, you may run into enemies or you may just want to stop mid dash to change your direction.

Personally, I probably wouldnt be super into tekken gameplay. I really enjoy your chill vibe from these playthroughs. Lowkey would love to see you do more Metroidvanias like Sundered or Ori, but anything that you enjoy would be best (including Tekken)

When you upgrade your downslam ability into descending dark you gain Iframes when you use it and it will hit 2x but its also one of the strongest damages you can produce besides abyssal shriek I recommend you use your spells more on normal mobs especially in crystal peaks where most enemies are either hard to hit or have armour I like the way of enjoying a boss to its potential but harder bosses will be tough if you use nothing but your nail so sneak in a vengefull spirit every now and then!
