Being an artist, with very artistic friends, the most original display area I’ve seen was walls covered in short loop carpet. They used small curtain pleat pins to hang their art. Could be changed out endlessly and used for drying oil pieces.

Mirrors are a favorite of mine also, making yourself the artwork ☺️ or to enlarge room featured in. All of my artwork is on canvas, unframed. Kitchen, has purchased canvases of wine, cheese, a cherry, a torte dessert, and coffee, all individually. Otherwise, I just Can't seem to live without my own canvas work. Mainly people, with an abstract here and there. Much love my dear friend. Hoping all is well! ❤ Hugs

Thank you for doing art! Love to see one dedicated to photography art. I hung two 8”x12” photos in a corner, one on each wall but one’s higher than the other. Reminds me to look up. I’m not into traditional paintings, portraits or abstracts. Abstracts can make a room look fantastic but don’t make my heart sing. If I was doing a coastal look I still don’t think I’d do sailboats or ocean art as it would be too theme-y for me. I’d want art that maybe hint of coastal instead.

I have made so much artwork with acrylic paints on the gel plate….if I framed them all I could fill a hundred homes 😁

Greetings .....this video popped up as I saved it. You spoke of fixing and mending.....what Grandmere would call.....making do. I found a patchwork quilt at a tag sale recently, and it was over 100 years old. The seller told me it had been his wife's Aunt who made it. It was quintessential Shabby Chic. I must have worked on that for three hours between whip stitching and being under the sewing machine.....to make certain it was secured. It was worth every minute of toil as it is so warm and made with love I'm certain. I was a joy to view the video again.😊
