If I was to do wall paper I’d do it as a drawer liner or maybe a subtle one behind a bookcase wall. I like a very delicate subtle black and white floral (outline) or a light blue and white ornamental design. Some of the murals today are nice like a foggy day with a tree. My guilty pleasure would be a strong waterfall mural surrounded by tree ferns.

That wallpaper in niche was so pretty! Wallpapers are wonderful, grasscloth, a lovely choice .. large scale bold prints in small baths, while prints are gorgeous in other living spaces. I wasn't a fan of the red background shown. Too bold, too much in your face! Layers to paper, so interesting, I didnt know! This was a wonderful addition filled with great info. Thank you, Suzie ❤😘

Glad you liked it Gina. I agree, I prefer the more muted subtle styles but there is something for everyone when it comes to wallpaper choices nowadays! Do you use wallpaper in your home? I have used in my last house but yet to renovate and yet to settle on a style but I do know there will be wallpaper involved. Possibly something from Zuber et cie or Lewis and Wood xx Suzie

In your very first image, the beautiful wallpaper is inspired by the World renowned Swedish botanist Carl Linnaeus, who covered the walls of his home in botanical illustrations. We have his home not far from us, still preserved as it was in his time. 🌿

You used to have wallpaper shops with rolls of choice and books with samples. Nothing like that is around now. On line is not the same as a real visual and touch of them.

Hello @rustymouse We have a wonderful store close to where we live and there is a whole strip in Sydney of fabulous wallpaper/fabric showrooms...sometimes the choice is overwhelming! I was taught to be careful when purchasing rolls of wallpaper online rather than the verified supplier as there could be issues with the quality or if there are faults the returns/warranty process could be tricky. Not sure where you are located but if in Australia I could guide you to some showrooms. Warm regards Suzie x
