I love onsens and sentos in Japan. I always visit Japan in the cool months during spring or autumn. And after a day of walking around, it's great to soak in onsen pools, or just public baths in hotels are fine. Good thing many hotels in Japan have own public baths. For that reason, I'm not getting tattoos just yet. Thanks for sharing this video on onsens. Makes me wanna go back soon again to Japan.

Jun very fascinating and educational 💙 The weather here is so humid and I’m always sweating like buckets 😂. I can’t do hot springs or any hot bath however when I go back to Seattle in the fall/winter seasons I can 😂. Out of topic, I was planning 2go2 Israel before the war happened. The good thing I didn’t book yet. I wanted to see and experience the Dead Sea but sad that the war is still going on. Hopefully it will be over soon 🙏

well, now that you've taken us with you, i have had my fill of onsens, haha. i just want to understand---so when you book a hotel you can try many types of tubs in a day? i'm assuming the water source is the same since you were only in one area?
@watanabejunАй бұрын
im glad you enjoyed! hahah Most of hotels have only one Big tub (public bath) and room to sleep. but some of hotels have tub in the room also, and this place has private family tub which you can take with different sex or for those who has tattoos! water should be same but sometimes they infrared and make texture different!

Suuuuree!! lovely comment!!! The hot springs of Kusatsu are heated by magma deep underground, making the water extremely hot-too hot to bathe in directly without risking burns! To cool the water without diluting its mineral content, Kusatsu employs unique traditional methods. One such method is called yumomi, where wooden paddles, approximately 180 cm long, are used to stir the water. This process exposes the hot water to air, cooling it naturally. It also softens the water, enhancing the bathing experience! Another method involves the yubatake (hot water fields), where the hot spring water flows through wooden channels (the one looks like disneyland I said in the video). As the water travels, it is exposed to air, which helps reduce its temperature naturally without adding cold water! Thanks to these traditional techniques, visitors to Kusatsu can enjoy the hot springs at a comfortable temperature while retaining the rich mineral content of the water : ) something like that hahahaha

Soup is so rich it looks like it can build it's own ramen shop lol. But yeah this ramen looks a lot like Mendokoro's Tonkotsu ramen except the noodles in Tsukemen are thin while the noodles in Mendokoro are thick. Char siu almost looks similar too. Lovin the ramen review as always! Also, it would have been nice if you can order extra noodles to add to your ramen so that the salty soup will not go to waste lol :D
