I lived in Honolulu when I was in college and would grab a couple custard malasadas from Leonard’s every week. I’m now back on the mainland but I can’t stop thinking about them. I’m definitely giving this a try. Thank you🙏🏼

Great recipe! Easy ingredients and you can make a bunch of these, just get more meat and eggs each time. Can be breakfast, lunch or dinner, super versatile recipe.

I want to try this in a bread maker but the recipe calls for 6 to 8 cups of flour so if I break it down how do I know how much flour to use

Looking forward to trying your recipe. First batch of malasadas was horrible. Will follow your lead on this next batch. Thanks!!!!

That's gonna be those dryed out tasting shoyu chickens sometimes you get. Then you start eating more of the mac salad to compensate knowing the mac ain't good for you. Cooking with the skin and bone in leaves a ton more flavor, softens the meat and makes it juicier and before serving, just remove the skin and bones if you want. People who know how to cook will prefer to see the skin and bone to know the meat will be juicy.

Don't understand how a fatty tail meat price went through the sky. An osso buco is just as tasty with the marrow in the bone to boot but their prices didn't skyrocket. Oxtail is fattier, takes longer to cook yet the taste and time and effort and price isn't worth the comparison to other beef sections. Some pieces are literally all fat. Same price.

I'm surprised it cooks well without binding the meat.. We normally use raw pork, mix and mash it with onions garlic and carrots, then add egg to bind the pork mixture so it will not break when fried.

Looking at these manapuas, I don't feel too bad about how mines came out.😂 My manapua NEVER come out "white and fluffy" as most of the videos say. Mine are ALWAYS tan colored and somewhat "doughy" EVERY TIME.😅

Turn down the sensitivity of your microphone. I literally can hear your saliva in your mouth moving around. I’m sure I’m not the only one noticing this.
