I used my camping inverter generator. It's a 120V and running is 2100 watts. Needed a ground bonding plug and with the 120V adapter at the 12 amp max (1440 watts) on my Model Y I got 4-5 miles of range charged per hour.

It worked. I found taking the solenoid completely off make it easier to get the new starter in. The top bolt holding in the starter is a real pain, especially with the towing package with transmission cooler- i needed a crowfoot offset to get it loose and then ratchet-box-wrench. Leaving the black 12v lead/housing off while installing helps. Tab broke off the little black plug, just like he said; I drilled a tiny hole and small screw to hold it in place. Full disclosure...Nothing about this repair is fun or easy...Took about 6 hours

Those pre-assembled KYB struts' bearing are not good. Learnt a lesson. would rather buy just the strut & spend more time changing it out using old original Springs & Bearings.

So just did this repair on 5.7 2010 and it was a freaking pain. Summertime florida started before sunrise. Didn't end needing to take the solenoid off I played puzzle and it came out. The main issues was the small space, for the top nut. Killed most of a hour one 8th turn at a time. Mostly just painful places for hands and positions. And I bit of time killing screws took 7 hours with everything fighting me, beats the 1200 quotes I got thou

@@evaneason6906 its a good thing im not in charge of who gets put in the street and unalived for making common wear parts in cars and trucks a nightmare, or i know i would be making the toyota ppl involved in this placement 1st on my list. they could have easy put it on so it jointed from the transmission side with simple to reach bolts since there is plenty of room there. i do know why they charge 1200 bucks for this, but it still aint right to place something like this in that location.

That's not true the Ford ecoboost engine is almost on par with a Nissan Altima or cars of that style I usually pay about $120 maybe 150 from California to Arizona and with a EcoBoost Ford truck I rented one time I think I paid $170 there and back that is not bad for a truck problem with the Ford F-150s with EcoBoost is that those engines go out quick they start having header problems around 160 thousand miles.

Kudos for teaching your son to be self reliant!!! I am replacing both front struts on my 2009 RX350. I have seen other videos showing that you have to remove the axle nut, but you didn't remove it, so I am going to try your way. I have replaced both front axles in my RX350, and I really don't want to remove the axle nuts again if I don't have to as I am not using power tools. You make it look fairly easy, and I hope that my strut replacement goes as smoothly as yours did.

I have a 2012 Lexus RX 350 , looking at this video I purchased KYB from the link. Biggest mistake I ever made, waste of money. They don't ride the same at all like the OEM , this are garbage, don't waste your money, now I'm going to have to spend more money to get the OEM. ALSO I paid a mechanic because l change the control arms too Don't buy KYB is garbage, the ride is rough , stiff ,bad .
