AMAZING explanation! You're so detailed. I keep tensing up my shoulders and couldn't figure how to keep them down and relaxed. Now I understand that the technique is to focus opening the chest all thanks to this video! I was feeling discouraged because I don't have a dance partner to practice zouk with, since I live so far from the social events, but when I saw "no leader, no excuses" that was enough for me to get off my couch and practice on my own! Thank you for your generosity! I am truly forever grateful for your videos!

I am dancing zouk since 2003, so this is second nature for me. It's really strange to see this deducted . But thank you :) it gives me food for thought :)

INCREDIBLY helpful! Helping instruct a class on frango assado today and I couldn't find any good sources on solo drills or footwork. So THANK YOU (and Alisson) sooooo much for this! Will use this as a backbone and will share your video to the group later as well~

I am curious as to why you call that elastico, I am aware of some other things in Brasil called elastico, like bonus, and elastico connection, but I have never heard rau called elastico

Thanks so much for doing this during quarantine! These styling videos are exactly what I’ve been looking for. One suggestion is to show the moves in the beginning of the video with music for a few seconds so I know what I’ll be learning. Otherwise, I forward to the end to watch a slower summary before starting the video from the beginning. I think it would help a lot!

Great videos!!! Do you or somebody else know such videos for leader techniques???
@rolldanceskateschool
@rolldanceskateschool 5 жыл бұрын
Hi and thankyou! No I haven't come across anything which is for leaders to practice alone. Many of my videos can obviously work for both lead and follow but yes, it would be good to have a channel targeted at leaders. If I come across something I will let you know. xo Jane
