Hall effect thumbsticks suffer from stick drift too. All the 8BitDo Ultimate Xbox/PC controllers (both wired and bluetooth) use hall effect sticks, and they develop stick drift, some after just days. They also have slower response time. If anything, hall effect sticks seem to suffer from stick drift and other issues more than regular potentiometer sticks. I don't know if this is actual foul play by controller makers. When mice started having double click issues, some mice makers said this wan't them trying to break mice, but this was because the market of switches was monopolized by a Japanese brand named Omron, and that brand made sure those switches break over time. It wasn't until mice makers started making their own switches, that the issues started getting resolved. Something similar might be happening with controllers.

so for anyone out there that had used the edge for sometime do you recommend any third party controller thats way better than this? or this is still the best you can get now? i am planning to get the edge since my dualsense already had the drift problem.

I just modded a gamecube i got off ebay for $25... got a 1TB micro sd with the entire library lol. I also did this to my switch lite... you can set up pretendo to play double dash online if you have the network adapter for the GC. A couple of my friends still get together every Thursday, bringing this gc to lay the hurt in double dash haha.

Solution if the second connection doesn't show up: Go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Privacy. Select View and Customise Your Privacy Settings. Then change the first one to "anyone". Thats all. After that the second connection showed up for me

The remote connection works great. The problem is that the button mapping is completely wrong and the joysticks dont work at all

Did you need to setup a vpn like Tailscale? Or does this work without any additional setup for remote play over the internet?
