I hate to be locked to store fronts but the fact that steam keys are available at many great digital stores is amazing for deals like humble ,fanatical, and many others. Just like with ps remote play there is game pass (don’t know the interaction with the actual console) but it is amazing to add to your library for a limited time. I have like 2500+ steam games and there still countless games I only have access to and haven’t let my subscription to game pass lapsed since. I personally fell in love with pc a long time ago and always wanted an actual mobile version because a laptop was just too cumbersome and expensive. Love my steam deck even if it’s mostly to play in bed when I can’t get on my pc.

Nice Video ! I also got an LCD Version and absolute happy with it. Upgraded it to 1 tb ssd by myself it has become my main gaming system, i also got an old gaming desktop pc and a gaming notebook but to be honest the Deck with the docking station is my favorite. I also bought a pretty fast samsung sd and installed Windows 11 on it, so i can use some anticheat games and also use Netflix & Prime Video App with movie downloads. To go totaly hardcore i got a mobile 16" screen with bluetooth keyboard, mouse and Xbox gamepad. All that stuff suits into a backpack with equal weight to a gaming laptop. This is the best piece of hardware i bought in the past few years. i know it´s not not the high end gaming machine but to be honest the emulation of old systems catches me as well as indie games like Project Zomboid ( which plays great on Deck ). I also play God of War, State of Decay 2 and Tekken 7 or Street Figther 6 and they work perfect maybe not with max. details but as i always say : The best graphics do not make the best game. A great game at low details is still a great game and boring game with high end graphics at the end is just a ...... Greetz from Germany

I've got a decent rig setup to play just about any title on high settings. I've owned my Deck for about a year and have logged more hours on it than my main PC. This thing has been amazing and I can't recommend it enough. I put about 150 hours into RDR2 just on the Deck.

What kind of "case" do you have on your PS5? @3:00. It looks sick.

1:26 some games do require always online but if you check the deck verified status. It'll mention it. Also sometimes they require you to be online for the first time ya start up the game on bootup. then it's fine if ya quit and relaunch it later

Did you contact Valve? If you were close to release there's probably good odds they would've helped you return it for an OLED. (Or still even might, if you get lucky) (I preordered my LCD model the day they went live, and I'm still dismayed that I didn't just wait to get the OLED. The upgrades go far beyond the screen. I've already had to RMA over two issues, where components were faulty (fan bearings/loud grindy fan and unresponsive shoulder button, after not that many presses/light use). Thankfully, they did a good job fixing them, but the OLED likely wouldn't have even had those problems. For instance, if my shoulder button stopped working again though and I'm out of warranty, it would also be way easier to fix on the OLED too... The screen is the biggest most visible upgrade, but there's far more internal ones, with not only upgraded components, but better ease of repairability. They're significant enough that it kinda makes us LCD users look like beta testers.) Edit: Oh, derp.. I just saw the pinned comment... Ah well, maybe it will help someone else :/

Throughly appreciate this video. I love my steam deck but hestiate to add any emulatoon due to my limited knowledge with emulation period. I definitely want to play some old school games in the future

Gf loves her OLED 1tb model. Although yesterday she played 6hrs straight, docking it to the TV and the steamdeck overheated, fans screamed and everything came to a halt. Had to let it cool down for 15mins

Oh really? What game was being played? And was the screen on the device the entire time

I also have the LCD. I wish I had waited, but I still love my deck. I don't really have the money to spend for the oled even if I sell my lcd model. Currently playing deep rock galactic survival and cult of the lamb.

I feel you the lcd is still great for the money

Good stuff. Please preach trackpads. I cannot emphasize how incredibly important they are. I'd challenge you to force yourself using right trackpad for camera controls. It's a game changer and I feel that people just don't bother to give it a shot. I'm personally at the point where my main reason for wanting to upgrade to new steamdeck is that trackpads have been upgraded on the new model.
@gg_sheed10 ай бұрын
Wait really? I didn’t know the trackpads were upgraded too! I’ll check that iut

@@gg_sheed there was like 38 or so upgrades but valve only pushed for oled screen in advertisement. I think memory is upgraded too it's faster now, joysticks and much more. Skillup has a full video on it.
