What are you on about? Just upswing, yeah, you have less range, but if you need more then one pixel of reach to both hit the boss and dodge successfully, then you’re playing suboptimally, obviously, just be perfect, it’s not that hard

during a text randomizer, the name fog canyon was randomized to just grimmchild no, i don't think i will game also, there's some mod that buffs grimmy to have three projectiles and homing (not sure which one it was, i'm great at not keeping track of this stuff). great mod, just wish it turned super grimmy into a different charm

everybody who sees this comment is welcome to absolutely smite me in the replies, but as someone who has never equipped either steady body or quick slash in my 125~ hours of gameplay, i dont see a point in having steady body as i feel like 1) the knockback gives me nice feedback from my hits on bosses 2) i feel like id walk into the damn boss because i focus more on the boss than where the knight is

I think we get steady by just like too late because by the time you get it, you’ve gotten used to the pushback so it feels weird when it doesn’t happen

Oblobbles are just so superior the guy had to remove his overcharmed state just to reduce his chances of dying

I honestly like Grimmchild more than Carefree Melody tbh. Sure, it feels good to free Nymm from The Grimm Troupe, but the charm doesn't really.. click for me. Grimmchild provides ranged attacks, does not require soul, teleports at will, ignores boss entrances and is cheaper at only two notches. Is his accuracy a bit hit or miss? Sure, but cut the little fella some slack. This is still a kid, so they obviously aren't perfect at everything!

But I do like it, it's sastisfying to become the unstoppable force, but I just acknowledge it's not that good.

You barely used it during the watcher knight fights, it's mostly useable in one on one fights thjs making it usless for crowds. But it's still impressive that it's kinda useful.

steady body is really good against Pure Vessel as its often to dangerous too hit because of the recoil knocking you back into a floor spike and too dangerous to get close enough to upswing him because when he staggers he headbutts you with a fast disjointed hitbox, for this reason i beat Absolute Radiance with Steady Body because i was less confident against PV, it does get some getting used to, but with quickslash, its basically a 1 notch DPS charm
