@@LCR is there different packages in 2005?
@LCRАй бұрын
Yes, the navigation screen was part of the Luxury Performance Package.
@TheToughLoveTarotАй бұрын
@@LCR one more question, which one do I have? Is it just Performance? Could I get a radio like yours put in and what will it cost to do it. Thanks
@LCR29 күн бұрын
@@TheToughLoveTarot The two other packages were the Luxury Package and the Premium Luxury Performance Package. If yours has the automatic windshield wipers, it came with the Luxury Package. Adaptive cruise and a HUD, plus special tuscany leather seats came with the Premium Luxury Performance Package. The STS in the video is not mine, we borrowed it to create that review. Unfortunately I can't tell you for sure if the advanced display can be built in afterwards. I do know the SRX can be converted from the Bose radio to the DVD nav, but it requires creating a custom adapter cable. It's not plug-and-play but it will work when properly connected.

Good in-depth video of this car, I believe it’s the only one on KZbin. What is your accent? It’s very thick, is it German? Some subtitles would be nice as I have a hard time deciphering the German(?) accent. Good video nevertheless.

Thank you for your comment, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I have added English subtitles, hopefully that helps you and other people who may have difficulty understanding the voice-over.

I had to Rebuild the AWD Transfer Case, I discovered it can be switched over to 60/40. (the front wheels spin more than rear wheels) not good for road use, because it would damage Tires also make the care prone to lose control. i think it is only good for driving off road, especially sand (I don't really know tho)
@LCRАй бұрын
That's surprising, since the 2WD variant was rear-wheel drive. I'd expect more power would be going to the rear wheels in a 60/40 config.

I have the Nav Radio. it's so much nicer than the base radio. I'm a mechanic with a nearby salvage yard that always have different SRX coming in stock. I always find good Parts with a great deal.
@LCRАй бұрын
Very true. This one came originally in this configuration, but was actually converted to the navigation system after the video was made.

Love the Tri-Five Chevys BUT, they were polluters with no safety features whatsoever. Open crankcases, inefficient carburetors, leaded fuel, single-reservoir master cylinder, drum brakes, etc. It is nice to see a survivor though. Can't believe the condition of those tires.
