The cheapest tire changing stand, is a 30 gallon barrel from an oil change place. Its free! And just the right diameter and is a good heidth. Being anywhere near to the ground is not the place to change a tire....................I use a cheap bead breaker from harbor freight, its not big but it works every time. Mighta been 25 bucks.

Those are definitely good tires. I think i prefer the Equilibrium for the high Sierra secret single track that i ride a lot

I had not ever seen anyone try to use the bead breaker to put a new tire ON, Mine ( old pos harbor freight ) sometimes ruins the side wall of tires I am taking off. I got the bike tire kit with mine so I can stand up, I hate all that knees on the concrete crap, thing with the harbor freight one though is the bar in the middle fits NO axle hole I have ever seen LOL. You have to make your own. Maybe if you had a Duck head attachment to put on wheel the bead breaker is you could position the spoon under that pin you keep pulling out and drop the duck head in on the breaker bar and then grab the whole tire and twist it on. Sternum strainer! LOL I like mine better than what that demo just let me know and I actually hate mine , I just need to spend some time making some new parts for it. so that would cut into RIDE TIME though. maybe next winter. Great Video! I saw that thing you have there at harbor freight the other day, came here to see how it works. saved me some dough, also the bike wheel balancer, saved some dough there, I just use jack stands and the axle, works great.

I have a 2019 Husqvarna TX300 last year of the carb with 60 hours on it now and its the beest bike ive ever had. Im also using the Lectron carb on it and love it. I like the simplicity of the carb bike. Thanks for the video.

Hi there Trailbound co. A company in Canada called FischMoto makes a USDA forestry service approved spark arrestor that will slip into a EC 250/300 muffler. I found that spark arrestor at Rocky Mountain ATVMC. I purchased one that slips into the exhaust pipe on my CZ 250 that I got from Charlie Richardson at CR Performance.

I never considered buying a Gasgas until I found out they are made by KTM factory. I’m reading a lot of good reports on the EC 300. The only downfall is that the 2024 models do not come with a map switch and the mufflers are not USFS approved. Hopefully on the 2025 models at least the muffler will be USFS approved.

I’ve never seen a 2 stroke come with a spark arrestor. We always put the 2.1 turbine core on the bikes right away

I ran 6 psi in mine for 2 years still had 50% tread and way way over 40 hours of riding. Low power 4 stroke trail bike. Liked the tire however in PA once it gets wet in late fall it stays wet and on roots in wet top soil etc the tire spins way more than I like. Excellent dry weather tire, that lasts a long time.

My last 2T was a 17 XCW 300 and I did do the SX300 head and cdi. Kept the head and went back to stock cdi as it started better and ran really nice down low. Will probably do the same to my TE300pro, just bump up compression a little.
@TrailBoundco

Oh I never tried the stock ecu on my bike just the sx one that came with my 250 to 300 cylinder kit. I do have a tsp high comp had though and very high head for northern summer rides

I bought the 24 TE300pro and have ridden the 24TX300 and found the tx to be too jumpy on slippery turns where is the te is smoother and easier to maintain traction. The TX is significantly louder so dont let the quiet TE/XCW exhaust fool you with where the bike is with the RPM and power curve. You do have to twist the throttle more if you want to apply more power. It is like the first half of the throttle is really dumbed down, but over half really jumps to life just fine. The TE/XCW pulls really well and controlled at really low rpm without spinning out much.

I was involved in quite a spectacular RTC, my mate had managed to stop in front of me his brother had already gone between a car and a van and all of a sudden I lost all rear break pressure (all on mountain bikes) and I took my mate through the back window at about 30mph. Aged 27 I didn't feel it until I went to pick up my bike when I got to the hospital they thought it was going to be a dislocated shoulder (they hadn't assessed me, rushed me for xrays) when the adrenaline wore off the pain was INSANE! I made it home and got lots of rest. Queue a 3 week wait to see the surgeon (NHS) it was grade 5 and he recommended I go straight for surgery....I had a 2 week wait then a cancelled surgery in all I waited 3 weeks, surgeon apologized cause he had to cut a lot of scar tissue away. I went for the nerve block and there's no way I wouldn't just make sure you have something around you to pull you up - You''ll need someone around you for 2 days straight. I just want to say it wasn't done right, the tape used was too long and my collar bone is now sticking out pretty much the same amount sometimes it just feels just full of dull pain that's not quite pain - Fix it asap just make sure your surgeons decent.

Just curious, how tall are you? Im 5’10” been running for about a year and a half on a KX250F motor cross bike beating my self up on the trails but I want to move to a trail bike. I feel like the hight of the bike might have set me back a little but just curious.

Agreed about the longer races being good to get the full intensity and grit out of the sport, rather than the shorter 2-3 hour stuff
@TrailBoundco

thanks yeah I feel like it gives the riders an advantage of the racers since race guys usually practice shorter times where riders are out doing long days on the bike
