Are you basically using two trans brake relays since the board has its own?

@@Rj_B388 yes but no. At the time of purchase leash did not have the correct SSR to install in the board so it’s a normal relay. Using the NOS relay allows us to use a bump with the trans brake. It was a procurement issue When leash was building a few of their boards

So you didn’t replace the injector tip seals? Not a good move, it is necessary. You’re giving horrible information. Guess you’ve never seen a leak at the injector bore due to someone not replacing them.

Huh? A ZR1 cam is nothing special its a non DOD LT1 cam, exact same specs. I have an LT5 cam and its an LT1

They make a wonderful product. It was an easy install. The instructions were perfect when coupled with this video. The car should have been produced this way from the factory. The Dynomat dramatically reduced tunnel noise. I couldn’t be happier with this product.

They aren't custom pushrods...the L83 only has 4 collapsible lifters, so the stock full length pushrods will work in replacement.

The MGW shifter is really not all of that. To start with, it is not a complete assembly. You have to use part of you original shifter to make this a complete assembly. It is hard to shift, for a street car shifter. The rubber dust boot is poorly made. And it is just to much money for what it is. A Tick shifter or even a C6 shifter works just as well for a lot less money.

@@jessebunker6062 tick did not have any options when this was purchased, the oem shifter is sloppy, it is slightly more difficult to shift with the ball shifter but that’s about the only complaint I had

I've watched this video and the one prior. You've sold me on this kit. This was a great explanation on how to do this yourself. Thank you for that! The only question I have is do you run a key? How would that and the neutral safety switch tie into all this?

@@tbeach7112 the neutral safety switch is wired into the board all it takes is to cut the crossover wire in the Board and wire the more switch in the shifter. For a key I’m sure you could just wire it inline with the ignition switch or the starter switch

@@NSTY_6.2 it’s a manual so no torque converter. And yes you almost always need to change the shorts to a a harder material

SSR only works with AC. so unless they've figured out a way to game the relay, expect it to not* work
