Hi, What are you using and where is the sensor located for the coolant pressure? And why is it worth monitoring, what is the reason . Thanks
@DAPerform Жыл бұрын
Coolant pressure is a great value to monitor because it will in most cases indicate whether there is a problem with cylinder compression leaking into your water jacket. That can happen multiple ways like head gaskets or a cracked sleeve or head. If you go back to the dyno video you will see that on the dyno we had a problem with coolant pressure as it was rising very quickly with any type of boost we put through the engine causing the cooling system to pressurize to over 40psi which is not good

I'd be more worried about that oil pressure dropping off so bad. is it a Dart block by chance?
@DAPerform Жыл бұрын
Stock block 5.3. Running a stock fbody oil pan and seems like during the high G’s its oil sloshing. Put another quart in it and it didn’t fall the next pass
