The alteration of the seat by Corbin for your wife may not have been the first time, as they did the same for me in late 2019. I was given the opportunity to test ride and Eva 107, but was too short of stature to feel comfortable. They altered seat and adjusted the preload to adjust right height. I love this bike!

Fits to my own experience. On a 11 degrees Centigrade max day I got 120 km from about 95%. Mine is a Esseesse9 though and thus less aerodynamic. Got to 160 km/h for a few seconds and did about 10 km highway in total. That made the remaining range drop VERY quickly. The rest was however secondary roads and the odd town. So overall I might have ridden a bit more defensive, partly compensating for the higher drag. For a 28.000 km 13.4 kW bike this is however not bad at all.

The 13.4 casing might be heavy but it looks like a piece of art. The same applies to the drive section. It reminds me of how the original Buggati’s engines were designed. So anybody who says the mechanical parts of an electric part look boring are dead wrong. I will turn my Esseesse9 into a half-faired sportsbike and will leave all that stuff in plain sight. I would have bought an Energica Eva Ribelle, but it was too loud. So I got a Zero SR/F. Sad to hear, that Energica is gone. They were one of three or four serious electric Bike Companies (Zero, Energica, Verge, Livewire). Energica had many plus points (range, DC Charging, insane power), but the noise was a no go criteria for me.
@NewZeroland14 күн бұрын
@@davidz1264 Haha I understand. Lots of people weren't into the reduction gearbox sound. I hope Zero offers DC charging someday, but without this competition anymore, I don't know if they will.
@davidz126414 күн бұрын
@@NewZeroland Yeah, that's my concern also. Zero is very stubborn to offer DC charging. Ok, they have to redesign the complete electric (battery, motor, high voltage electronics), to support DC charging. Tough job, but it has to be done. It's the second year in a row, that they do almost no changes to their flagship bikes (2024/2025). Either they work on a big thing, or they laying low, because there is almost no competition. Fun fact: The "sound" problem is the same with the Livewire One. They build their gear box specifically to make noise. I don't get it.

Great to see you back briefly Sam. I was sincerely hoping to someday become an Experia owner, having been a sportsbike owner since the late 90's. It was terribly depressing to hear the news about Energica, I think we all had great hopes for this company. As they were behind the Electric side of Moto E in Moto GP I felt that they were almost guaranteed a great future. Surely some enterprising company will look at the cutting edge technologies (especially fast charging) implemented by Energica and realise that it is a total no-brainer to rescue and sustain this manufacturer. I know there are reasons why we can't have nice things, but could we not just make one exception in this case????
@NewZeroland15 күн бұрын
I agree 100%. This company NEEDS to be saved. It would be cool if another motorcycle company wanted an electric branch without having to go through the time and effort of R&D.. just buy Energica and slap their name on the bikes!
